I had the day off today and so I volunteered to watch the kids. I had Zola, Sophia, Bailey, Ellis, and Addy.

"Daddy were bored!" Addy cried "well what do you guys want to do?" I asked all the kids "tell us stories!" Bailey yelled.

He along with the other kids loved to hear story's especially about Derek, Mark, Jo, and all the others. They loved to hear about all the adventures and how we saved so many people.

"Hmm I have got a better plan. Everyone get shoes and jackets and get in the car!" I told them all.

I then grabbed my shoes and put on a jacket and then helped the kids that needed help.

We all piled in the car and buckled up. "Alright you guys ready for an adventure?" I asked "yes!" They all screamed and I started to drive away.

We pulled up and the kids started to look around. "Where are we uncle Alex?" Sophia asked from the back and I got ready to tell her when Zola piped up. "Where at a cemetery. Right uncle Alex?" "Yes we are. Okay everyone get out and find someone to hold hand with and don't go anywhere without me." I told them and they all started to get out.

I grabbed the huge umbrella since it was raining and exited the car. I got out and Zola and Sophia were holding hands and there was Ellis and Addy holding hands and Bailey was alone.

"I don't have a partner." He said sadly "yes you do silly." I said taking his hand "now let's go."

I walked up to the closet grave to us "what does it say daddy?" Addy asked "Mark Sloan." Sophia stated "that's my daddy." She said look at the head stone "yes it is Sophia. Now everyone take a seat and I'll tell you a story." I said everyone sitting down while I handed Zola the umbrella to shield them from the rain.

"Okay so Mark was a plastics Doctor." I started to say "like uncle Jackson?" Bailey asked "yes, just like uncle Jackson. When I was younger and I didn't know I wanted to be a baby and little kid surgeon just like your mom." I pointed at Sophia "I wanted to be just like your daddy. Now your daddy didn't like me very much" I said laughing "but he ended up teaching Uncle Jackson all about it, and he called them the plastics posse." I continued to tell them all about Mark and then I thought about Lexie.

"Now this headstone right next to Marks is Lexie greys." I said "my aunt!" Zola shouted "yes she was your mommys sister and technically all of your aunts." I started "her and Mark fell in love and loved each other for a very long time." I stated going into the story and the kids loved it.

"Okay guys let go to another one." I told them and they all stood up and we walked to another one.

"Now this is Derek Shepherd." I said "Our daddy!" Bailey yelled looking around at his siblings "yes and your guys' uncle." I told them all about Meredith and Derek's love story and they all looked so happy. "Daddy and Mommy loved each other so much." Zola said with a smile on her face but I couldn't help but notice Ellis with a sad face but I didn't want to talk to her yet.

"Okay one more and then we have got to go guys." I said and we walked to the last grave I had on my list.

"This is Josephine Wilson Karev." I said "my mommy?" Addy asked "yes your mommy." I said with a smile "do you guys want to hear about how we met?" I asked and they all nodded their heads.

I then went into the story of me and Jo and couldn't help but feel a little saddened.

"Okay kids now it's time to go back to the car." I said with a toothless smile.

We all got in the car and buckled up again. "Did you guys have fun?" I asked "yes" they all replied.

I started driving when I headed Ellis speak "Uncle Alex how did Uncle Mark and Aunt Lexie die?" She asked "well your mom, dad, aunt Lexie, uncle Mark, aunt Arizona, and aunt Christina all got in a very bad plane crash. Aunt Lexie passed away there and Uncle Mark made it back to the hospital but then passed away with Uncle Derek and Aunt Cali by his side." I told them and they all nodded looking like they understood.

They all soon started talking to one another about stories they had geared from each of there parents and I couldn't help but smile. I was glad all of these people, my family, lives lived on even if they weren't here.

We got home and everyone rushed inside not wanting to get drenched.

"Okay everyone take off your coats and shoes and you guys can play and your dinner should be done soon." I told them all "yes sir!" They all yelled laughing.

They all ran upstairs and I went to the kitchen starting the food. I heated the kids running around and laughing upstairs and I loved that sound.

The kids happy was my favorite thing in the world now. I was starting to get being a dad and my daughter was amazing just like her mother.
