Jo's funeral is today and I am waiting for Robbins to get her to see if I can take baby Karev there so it's not going t be all about sadness and hopefully she can keep me from crying. Anyways I still haven't found a name for her I have options I just don't know what fits. Also she is doing very well she is breathing on her own and she has also given me a smile.
"Hey." I heard Meredith's voice say "Hey" I said back and she sat next to me and handed me a coffee. "Has she given you anymore smiles today?" she asked because she was there when she gave me the first smile. "Nope not yet, but have you felt this grip of hers?" Meredith put her finger in her hand and she griped Meres finger "Wow such a strong girl just like her daddy." Meredith said smiling down at her. "A name yet?" she asked "No still debating between those couple of names I told you." I said "and has Robbins came yet?"
"Nope you're just in time." Robbins said behind us. "Alright let me take a look at your little girl." she said and peeked into the incubator "Wow she's doing really, really, well and she looking cuter every day." she said smiling at her "That's what I've been saying." I said making faces at my daughter.
"Okay now the real question is she looking good enough to go to the funeral today?" I asked "Well her stats are doing fantastic and they have been for a couple of days now, but she still has her oxygen helping her breathe." she said "Ill bring the oxygen tank." I said quickly and she just looked at me "Come on Robbins please, shes doing really good and is actually pretty big for being born so early also her dad and all of her dads friends are doctors, hell you'll even be there." i said pleading.
"Fine but I don't like it. Right after she has to come back though so we can monitor her for at least one more day and if shes still doing good you can finally take her home." she said and I was beyond elated for the first time in a long time.
