It's my third day of my freshman year and for the first time I find myself smiling after waking up at 7 AM to go to school.
Sophia seems to be a good friend and I can't deny to myself the smile on my face everytime I think about him and that curly hair of his.
It's just so weird to have these feelings for him. I don't even know if I can call it feelings..
I make a bun and put my new black jumper with skinny jeans and my beloved white converse. I really like my new clothes and I actually had a great time shopping with Sophia.
I'm walking on the hallway and as I walk through the doors I see Sophia talking to my curly haired guy.. what the hell? Is there something missing here..? Does she knows him? Okay, let's ignore the detail that I just said 'my'.
I keep staring at them talking and I don't really know what to do.. Sophia is my friend and we always seat together.. He's not even from our class.. What is he doing here?! I try to avoid all these thoughts as I walk towards them.
"Good Morning," I say with a shy smile which I can't quite decide if it's fake because I don't really know what I'm doing right now.. She's talking to him.
"Good Morning Ems," Sophia smiles at me and the he turns to glance at me.
"Emily, this is Albert." Albert? So that's his name! I've been thinking about it actually!
"Hi, Emily." He says with a small smile. Mysterious eyes surrounding mine. He seems embarassed and so am I. I knew it was better to seat next to someone else.
"Hi," I try to look nonchalant while I seat and remove my books from my bag. I know I'm blushing terribly so I keep looking down.
"Well, I'll talk to you later." Sophia says when the professor walks through the door.
"Okay. Um, bye Emily." Albert looks down at me and I raise my head to give him a small smile and a light wave.
He just said my name! TWICE!
"Well, you can thank me now." Sophia says with a mischievous smile and confined look.
"For what?" I try to hide my smile. I met him. I finally met him.
"Bye Emily.." She says wih a funny accent trying to imitate his beautiful thick voice.
"Yep. And..?" I shrug. I can't show her that I'm happy about meeting Albert. I just said his name!
"And?! I could see you drooling!"
"I wasn't drooling." I glance at Sophia and she shakes her head.
"Wow, you're still in denial. Unbelievable."
"I'm not in denial. He's just a guy."
"And I don't even know him!" We both say at the same time. Alright, now she's making fun of me. She's not so groovy right now, is she?
"Stop making fun of me!" I say laughing.
"Well, stop being in the denial."
"I'm not."
"You're lying."
I know I am.
"Just stop it!" I groan trying to end with this conversation.
"Never." She tells me and I slap my face with a frustrated sigh.
"I like your clothes by the way," She says proudly and gives me a wink.
"Well, thank you. I got some help though." I playfully elbow her arm.
"Today is time for round 2!"
