Emily's POV.
I hope that the lunch with Sophia's father is going well. The way Albert aggressively reacted against Sophia's dad must have been so embarrassing to him.
My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of my phone.
When I see Albert's name my whole body frizzes.
*Hi Emily, we need to talk.*
I don't know what to say to him. Should I reply or just delete it?
My brain is telling me to delete it but there's something inside of me that wants to talk to him.. I really don't understand this need of hearing his voice. It's just stupid.
*Hi. Okay let's talk.* I start typing but then I delete it.
I'm not ready to have this conversation with him.
I lay my phone on my desk and go take a shower.
Albert's POV.
"She didn't replied me! She didn't fucking replied." I complain with Sophia who is barely sleeping on the couch opposite mine.
"Can you calm down?" She says.
"If I can calm- This all your fault!"
"My fault?! I didn't say for you to kiss her like a fucking pervert,"
"I didn't kiss her like a fucking pervert!"
"No? You told me that you grabbed her arm! That's violent you know?"
"Shut up and do something about it!" I stand up from the couch to try to intimidate her.
"What you want me to do? I can't force her to talk to you! Give her some space." She talks raising her arms like it's all my fault.
"Don't raise your arms to me! This is your fault too! Because of your stupid programming ahead of time,"
"She doesn't even know that I'm helping you."
"You're NOT helping me. Stop saying that."
"Can you just stop walking around like a fucking crazy?! You're making me nervous,"
"Good! Do something you nervous."
"Maybe she didn't read the text.."
"Here. Call her." I say standing her phone in front of her.
"What?"
"Now." I command with a harshly tone.
"Fine." She grabs the phone from my hands giving me a death glare.
"It's ringing.." Sophia says with her phone in her ear.
I'm looking at her with my elbows on my knees and my hands on my jaws.
"Hi, Ems!" She says looking at me.
I instantly stand up and look at her.
"Are you okay?"
"Invite her!" I mouth to her before she starts rambling on the phone.
"Um, Ems, do you want to have a snack with me?" She asks.
I'm almost praying for Emily to say yes.
"Please, please please! We could study literature together.." She suggests.
Please say yes!
"Really? Thanks, pump. See you in a bit!" She says and hangs off the phone.
"Holy fuck, is she coming here? Right now?" I stand up on my feet looking at Sophia.
"Yep. You're welcome." She says laying on the couch again.
"You have to prepare the snack and all the books for.."
"I don't have to prepare shit. This was your idea, you cook, my friend." She says and closes her eyes.
I hold my fists and take a deep breath.
"Fuck, Fine."
After fifteen minutes I have all prepared. I spilled the milk two times because I can't stop shaking. I think I've never been so nervous.
I hear a knock on the door. It's her.
"Sophia!" I almost yell.
"What?" She says with a frown.
"Stop sleeping and move your ass to the door! Now!"
"Can you calm down?" She says standing up on the couch.
"Go!" I almost push her.
"Don't push me you idiot!"
"I didn't push you! Can you just go open the fucking door?!" I say in frustration.
"Okay, okay,"
She's opening the door. What should I do? I think I've never been so nervous in my entire life. This girl is driving me crazy.
I'm on the living room and Sophia is taking ages on the hallway. What the fuck is going on?
"Albert," Sophia says.
"What?" What now?
"Here's a friend of yours on the door.."
What the fuck?
I instantly run to the hallway. What the fuck is he doing here?! Emily is here in any moment and this dick is at my door.
"Dude! What's up?" He says walking inside the house.
"Hi, James." I harshly say with a disappointed tone.
