Albert's POV.
You don't have the right to do this with me! How could you act like that after everything you said to me?! Tell me what did I do! Tell me and I will disappear of your life for good! I just need an explanation!
I just wish you could tell me. I've spent these last three days crying myself to sleep and feeling more pain that I thought it was possible for someone to feel. You broke my heart, Albert. You didn't harm me when you cut my arm while you were sleeping. You harmed me terribly when I was right here, asking for an explanation because I still love you more than I could ever love someone, especially myself, and you laughed right in my face.
Fuck. I fucked up. I wasn't laughing of her, at least not directly. I was just stupefied with the fact that she was still blaming herself from my mistake.
She told me she loved me. How can she love me when I harmed her?! I can't believe I stand there in silence looking at her. I was so socked that she said she loved me. I never had someone loving me.
I wish I could have grabbed her arm and turned her to me. I would hungrily kiss her and tell her I loved her. But I let her run away from me.
It's snowing and it's just so cold that it makes my eyes water. I'm standing at the porch of her house for two hours waiting to earn the courage to go inside and talk to her.
"Albert," I hear a female's voice saying and I instantly look up to find Emily's mum.
"Hi. I came here because I need to talk to her. I need to fix everything." I try to make a coherent phrase.
"Why don't you get out of the snow and come inside and I will see what I think it's better for Emily right now?" Emily's mother gives me a knowing smile and opens the door for me to enter.
I know she's inside. My heart instantly starts beating faster as I see two cups of tea on the sink. I need to see her.
"Albert, I don't know what you did to my daughter for her to be like this. I know she likes you very much but I can't let you hurt her this way."
"I know, I just need to talk to her, to explain her everything. Please." I plead her mother and she looks at me for a few seconds and then gives me a small nod.
"She's on her room upstairs. You can go, but If I hear her cry, you're out." Emily's mother tells me and I thank her.
I eagerly climb the stairs and step to her door. My legs are shaking and I'm afraid I will snap inside if she refuses to talk to me.
