"Emily," Albert calls my name for the third time in a row.
"Yes?" I look at him and try not to look upset. I am upset though. Not because of that girl named Alice particularly but because apparently she is a secret of him.
"Alice is not important I swear. She's just a girl, an old friend okay?"
"Okay." I look at him and then glance at the board again.
"Please don't be mad at me, I'm telling you the truth."
"An old friend, Albert? With benefits right?" Sophia adds and he makes her a death glare. She is hurting my feelings and she does not make part of my relationship with Albert so I would like her to stop.
"No, she's not. Can you shut the fuck up and worry about your laid with James, would you?"
"Can you two stop fighting? I'm not mad, Albert, and I would like you to stop with the comments about my relationship, Sophia. I know you're trying to help me and to protect me but I'm okay with doing it myself, alright?"
"I'm sorry but-"
"I'm here to protect you, Emily." Albert interrupts Sophia and I sigh in frustration.
"Why do you keep talking to her? She's a slut, Albert."
"I'm not talking to her damn it!"
"I'm sure the chat is being very pleasant for both of you, but I would like to keep going with my class." The professor interrupts Sophia and Albert's fight and I silently thank him.
I'm going to have a civilised conversation with Albert but not here.
