Unexpected

Chapter 19.

"Ha Ha. Not funny." Sophia sarcastically laughs.

"You don't have to do that," I tell Emily who is laying the dishes on the sink.

"Albert you cooked all of this, let me clean it, please." Emily says and I meet her eyes.

Her brown eyes are so beautiful.

"No, Emily. You don't have to clean the dishes. I can do it," I grab the dishes from her hands.

"I want to help!" Emily says trying to grab the dishes again.

"Emily leave it. If Albert wants to clean them, let him clean. Let's go study, I need your help!" Sophia says.

"Fine.." Emily answers and both leave the kitchen.

I look at the table full of dirty dishes. If it was Sophia I would happily let her clean.

I enter the living room and they are studying. I mean Emily is discoursing about the human rights and stuff and Sophia is almost sleeping. I love the sound of her voice. It's soft and kind but serious at the same time and I think that she couldn't talk faster.

I sit on the couch watching TV. I don't like geography. History was always my favourite subject and Sophia told me that Emily thinks the same except that she also likes geography.

After an hour of listening to geography facts and shit I stand up from the couch and go to my room.

Emily's POV.

Why did he go to his room? Was he tired of listen to my voice? Does he thinks I'm boring?

"Are you okay?" Sophia asks moving her hand off her jaw.

"Yeah sure," I lie.

"OH My Gosh it's so late! I have to go home," I say looking at my watch.

"Ohh okay.. let me tell Albert. Ahm.. you know what? You go tell Albert I still want to check if I have something else to ask you.." She says opening her book again.

"Okay.." I stand up from the table and walk to Albert's room.

I knock.

"Yes?" I hear him say inside of his room.

"Ahm..Albert it's me.." I say with a nervous tone. My legs are shaking.

I instantly hear a noise of him beating against something.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"I'm fine. Sorry for taking so long to open the door.." He says.

"It's okay. I have to go home, it's late." I say looking into his beautiful eyes.

"Ohhh okay.. You don't want to stay for dinner?" He asks.

"I'm glad that you like having me here but I can't. I still want to finish my studying for today.." I say trying not to blush.

"Ohh okay.. Well thank you for coming and for our earlier conversation.." He starts blushing. He's adorable with his embarrassed smile.

Albert's POV.

"Emily please don't let me alone with him!" Sophia hugs her.

"Sorry but I have to go!" Emily laughs.

"Can I have a hug too?" I ask and give her a smile.

She smiles and starts to blush. She hugs me and I put my hands on her blade-bones again. I love the way that she always rests her head on my chest. I put my chin on the top of her head and I really want to kiss her hair but I know I can't. I can feel the smell of her shampoo. It's certainly my favourite smell.

This hug only took five seconds. She steps away and I'm craving for her due to the lack of contact.

"Bye, guys. See you tomorrow," She says with a smile as she opens the door.

"Oh and thank you for the amazing snack!" She looks at me with a beautiful grin.

"It was nothing, I'm glad you liked it!" I smile.

She turns around and leave the house.

"I'm glad you liked it!" Sophia mocks trying to imitate me.

"Shut up!"

We both seat on the couch. Opposite couches of course.

"So where's James' number?" Sophia asks me.

"Are you sure you want to go out with James?" I ask. I don't want to look worried or even give a shit about her, but James can be dangerous when he wants.

"Yep. I like his style.." She says smiling.

"Okay.. here." I give her my phone with his number on the screen.

"Thanks."

I look at the TV and start thinking about my hug with Emily and the kiss. I can't hide the stupid smile that appears on my face. I don't know what this feeling is but I like it. I really do.
