We head to Starbucks to grab some cinnamon chai latte and sit in a small table next to the window with our orders.
"Emily," Andrew appears behind me with a surprised expression.
"Oh hello, Andrew." I feel Albert shifting uncomfortably on his sit when he approaches to the table.
"Thank you for helping me on my essay, I think I'm owning you a drink," Andrew says and I instantly cough. Albert is looking at him with so much venom in his eyes that I'm afraid he will snap at him at any moment.
"I'm Albert her boyfriend, so I suggest you to walk away if you don't want me to beat you up. If she wants to take a drink she will take it with me, do you understand me?" Albert's voice is so intense and bitter that sends a shiver through my spine. I can't help the cheeky smirk forming on my lips when I notice how tense and jealous he is.
Andrew stays in silence looking widely at Albert when he glances at me with furrowed eyebrows and walks away.
"Albert, Andrew is just my friend."
"Just a friend? He's a fucking asshole and I don't want him near you." He looks at me with a serious expression and I chuckle.
"What's so funny?"
"You, your jealousy." I give him a cheeky smile and he furrows his eyebrows.
"I'm not jealous." His voice comes out a little shaky.
"Sure, sure." I roll my eyes and take a sip of my tea.
"I'm not fucking jealous. You're my girlfriend so I do have some say in judging the guys you talk to."
"Judging the guys I talk to? Would you accept the idea of me talking to other guys besides Andrew?" I chuckle and raise my eyebrow at him. I'm using sarcasm because it's too amusing watching Albert this way but I don't agree with the jealousy attitude.
"The fuck no. Why would you need to talk to other guys?"
"Because I can have friends.."
"I believe there's a 'friend' in the word boyfriend.." He says and I burst into laughters. How I love this boy..
"Yeah I think your right," I laugh and reach to give him a kiss on his cheek.
He smiles and laughs too.
"But it's true though, you're my best friend, Emily. I trust you completely and you're all I need." He caresses my cheek and I can't help but blush and feel the dragons expelling fire on my stomach. He has an effect on me that I can't explain or describe. It's so intense. It doesn't seem even quite emotional. It's sacrificial, is ferocious, not emotive. It's the need to be what he needs, it's caring more about his feelings than mine, it's loving him more than I could ever love myself. It's something I've never read in novels or watched on cheeky films.
I don't think people like love, they like that fluttery flirty feeling. They don't love love, they love the idea of love. It wants the emotion without paying anything for it, without feeling the need to sacrifice for the other, the want for it. It's ridiculous.
"Hey, Ems," Sophia says pulling me into a hug as I approach to our usual spot.
"Hello," I give her a smile.
"Hi," Sophia greets Albert but he just rolls his eyes.
I'm so relieved that Albert didn't lost control when Andrew showed up. I know that after our fight he wouldn't do anything to ruin the second change that I give him.
"Where's James?" Albert asks Sophia.
"He said he was in a cafe when I called him this morning.." Albert holds a mysterious expression and I want to read his thoughts, but he distracts my Edward Cullen sense when he gives me a nonsense wink making me smile shyly. It's so enchanting that he always can make me smile even when he's not saying anything funny.

"Emily?""Yeah?"
"What happened between you and Albert?" Sophia looks at me.
"We're okay now." I simply say without wanting to drag any more details.
"It's not of your fucking business." Albert approaches and snaps at Sophia.
"Nobody asked you." Sophia fires back and he intensifies his gaze.
"You did ask Emily about what happened between us, so I'm involved too."
"Oh, please! You're lucky that Emily had even looked at you."
"You don't know shit about our relationship." He fires back and I need to stop this fight now.
"I know better than you think, Albert. You know that," Sophia fires with venom and I instantly look at her. He knows what?
"Don't you fucking dare." Albert talks with a lower voice.
"I do dare, Albert. I'm not hiding this from my best friend."
"Hiding what? What is going on?" My heart skips a beat on my chest as I look at Albert.
"Tell her about Alice, Albert." Sophia says and then stays in silence writing in her notebook.
What? Who's Alice? Another secret I assume.
I glance at Albert and without a word I start taking notes of the class.
I thought he trusted me completely...
