Chapter 39.

I decide to wait on the kitchen and can't stop blushing when Albert appears in the kitchen and burst into laughter as I hold a hand in front of my eyes.

"You should have seen your face!" Albert laughs with watery eyes and I stand to playfully push his chest. I can't help but laugh along as I call him 'idiot' a hundred of times and he laughs harder.

I love the way he throws his head forwards and bursts into laugher with closed eyes. He's so adorable.

We decide to finish the snack I prepared and then go watch TV. Albert wraps his arm around me and I detail how his curls look so much wavier when they're wet. I watch him watching TV and that's my favourite thing in the world. Watching him living life on his own and being part of it.

I completely forget that he can't see me staring at him by the corner of his eye and I terribly blush when he looks to the side and looks at me with a glow in his eyes and a warm grin. I love him.

I feel him brushing his nose against mine and I feel his body gently moving mine to lay down underneath him.

He starts kissing my jaw and eagerly covers my lips with his into a passionate kiss. I feel my heart beating widely on my chest and I know he feels it too when he presses my chest against his and smiles against my lips.

"I love that it's beating like this because of me. I love the way I make you feel." Albert breathes against my neck and presses his body against mine.

I'm starting to get lost on the way his lips feel so good against my neck and the way his hands are caressing my waist that I instantly jump when I hear the sound of the door opening.

"Spend the night here." Albert whispers as he brushes his lips against my neck.

"Emily, dear!" Ellen smiles at me as I sit comfortably on the couch at a decent distance from Albert.
