Emily's POV.

I finally decided to go to my geography class. Despite not having any idea of Albert and Sophia's location, missing classes isn't the way to make my life better.

I really don't know if I should call a cab, catch a train or take the bus.. usually I don't have to worry about these things because I always go to Albert's house with him. I miss him so much.. I just hope he's okay and his mum won't be too mad at him.. I can't think about another fight between them, especially with the knowledge that I am the responsible this time.

I decide to head to the Peters Square Metrolink and take the metro instead. It's so far from St Peter's school, but it's not like I have a choice. I have to make the whole Hyde Road alone and it's raining. Really showering.
I do love the moisture of the wet air mixed with rain, but today that I'm wearing a simple grey sweater, jeans and white converse, I wish I could see the sky clearer.

As I'm walking down the road I feel my feet dipped into a small ocean inside of my shoes. My shocks are completely soaked and I know I'm going to be sick after the storm passes. I wonder where is Albert now.

"Emily, do you need a ride?" I hear a males' familiar voice next to me.

"Hi, ahm.. no thank you, I'm taking the metro today." I try to look unaffected by the storm dragging me over.

I pray for Andrew to tell his mum to keep driving when I hear the sound of a door opening. I think the woman next to him is his mother, at least I used to see her picking up Andrew in our old school.

"Emily, you're completely soaked! Get in the car otherwise you'll be sick! I have to meet my dad at the sports pavilion in a half an hour so meanwhile we can go to Starbucks to warm you up." Andrew wraps his arm around my shoulders.

I try to urge the wind with my umbrella once more making three shafts break. Damn it!

As I enter inside he sits next to me and wraps his arms around my back to warm me up. I try to stop shivering from the cold rain penetrating my clothes. It's useless.

"I'm okay, you don't need to do that.." I say quietly giving him a small smile.

"Don't worry, I'm not trying to come onto you, I'm just trying to warm you up. He says wrapping his arms around mine one more time. He's very sweet but I know Albert would never see his gesture in a friendly way so I just pull away from him and wrap my arms around myself. I give him a small smile and stare at the window the rest of the drive.

"Thank you for the ride, have a good day," I politely say to Andrew's mum.

We get out of the car with and go inside Starbucks.

I instantly feel warmer with the smell of hot coffee penetrating my nostrils. This is my favourite place in the world along as the London Library, of course, and Albert's house. I miss him so much.. I wish he could be here and drink coffee with me.

We both sit in a table next to the window and order two hot chocolates and a chocolate chipped cupcake.

I know he's looking at me so I just keep staring at the window watching the raindrops race down the glass and dissolve into moisture.

The waiter calls Andrew's name and I didn't have any idea that Andrew's surname was Greece.

My phone is out of battery and I can't stop thinking about the possibility of Albert calling me during the last two hours.

"Emily, are you okay?" Andrew's hand waives in front of me pulling me back from my thoughts.

"I'm sorry! I was just thinking.." I look at chai latte mug who has been warming my hands and reach it to my lips. The flavour of cinnamon fills my senses and I briefly close my eyes to enjoy the warmth involving my bones.
