Veronica's POV

We had left the restaurant hours ago and to my surprise we had left by our own free will and none of us had been arrested. I was completely shit faced, I could barely see straight as I gazed around the room to try and find someone I knew; I couldn't. Which you'd think would be pretty hard not to considering there was 4 other bands in the club. I shrugged and ordered some more shots, I wasn't exactly sure how I was still getting served to be honest. I picked up the small shot glass and raised it to my mouth "Oh no you don't little lady" a voice said as the glass was quickly removed from my grasp, I turned around and out of blurry vision I saw Kellin gulping down one of the many shots that I had ordered.

I pouted "hey, that's mine!", Kellin grinned and took another one, I swatted his hands away and nearly fell off the bar stool but he caught me just in time, he was surprisingly a little sober. "No more shots for you" he sang and gave me a 'this-is-why-I-took-them-away-from-you' look. I showed him my middle finger and downed another one, showing him what I thought about his opinion. He laughed and shook his head "mental" Kelling whispered before shoving his way through the crowd. I turned my attention back to the shots and I couldn't help but let my mind wonder to Oliver, I hadn't seen him since I left the restaurant and to be perfectly honest I wasn't sure if he was still here. I was totally confused about what I felt but I shoved that thought away, alcohol made me emotional enough, even though I hadn't hit that stage yet I undoubtedly would later.

"What's a gorgeous girl like you doing sitting alone at a bar like this?" An unknown voice said, I shifted my eyes over to the stranger that had decided it would be okay to sit down next to me, he pushed a drink over to me and I raised an eyebrow "How original" I retorted pushing the drink back to him. He laughed silently "Oh and I'm not alone" I clarified, now it was his turn to raise his eyebrows at me

"Really? Because no one seems to be here with you." I looked around in search of someone to save me from this disaterous conversation but there was no one, they were probably all passed out on something. I even found myself hoping that Kellin would come back and take another one of my shots, that was how desperate I was. I rolled my eyes and downed another drink, it burned my throat but I didn't care. "Wait, you're that model!" he slurred in realisation and I groaned.

"wait what's your name...uh v- VERONICA! that's it!" he shouted "hey does it bother you that I know your name and you don't know mine?"

I nearly choked on my drink from laughing, was this guy serious? "No, it really doesn't bother me sunshine" I said, my words laced in sarcasm and annoyance, I was really tired of him and I wanted to drink in peace. "so..your place or mine?" he asked

before I could respond someone else did it for me "Well you're going to yours and she's coming to mine" an arm snaked around my waist and pulled me close, I turned and saw Austin Carlile, he gave me a wink and I snuggled into his chest, playing along.

The stranger shouted a few profanities and walked off, I giggled. "Thank you Austin"

"No problem V, you looked like you needed saving" I nodded in reply "I'll see you later, have fun and don't have too many" he said laughing referring to the long line of shots infront of me. I was shocked as to how Austin was still walking, he had started drinking way before me.

The night dragged on and I felt my eyes grow tired, I checked my phone for the time and winced at the bright light. I closed my left eye and squinted in hopes to try and make the blurry screen into focus more. '4:23am' I hopped off my stool and fell to the ground, I lay there and started laughing uncontrollably. "Jesus V" two tattooed arms that I recognised as Tony's wrapped around me and picked me up bridal style, I was still laughing. I noticed we were now outside he was probably taking me back to the bus, Tony managed to walk perfectly straight and I had no diea why everyone was so sober, it's like one of those cruel jokes where everyone's secretly drinking water except you.
