Veronica's POV
I woke up to the sound of persistent knocking on the door but I was too lazy to get up and answer it. Memories of last night filled my head and I pressed my eyelids tightly together hoping that it would all go away. The knocking continued and I heard Oliver groan from beside me, he untangled his arms from around my body trying not to wake me. He got up out of bed and pulled on his boxers before making his way to the hotel room door "Good morning!" A female voice sang as she entered the hotel room
"Oh..morning.." Oliver mumbled, sleep encased his voice.
"I brought you breakfast and I thought you might need some help packing considering we're leaving today." She cheered
My heart sunk a little, they were leaving today, what was going to happen to me, I didn't even have Sam to take care of me anymore, I would be alone.
"Thanks Hannah but I...er I don't need any help, thanks for the breakfast though." Oliver replied, sounding like he was trying to get rid of her. The door opened
"Okay, well I'll see you later alright?" Hannah asked
"Yeah, definitely!"
"...wait, is there someone here?" She growled
"What, no" Oliver laughed but Hannah wasn't believing it. I jumped out of bed and looked around for my underwear that had been thrown somewhere in the bedroom. I grabbed them and hid behind the en suite door, hoping she wouldn't come in. "If you don't have another girl here then who's shoes are they?" Hannah spat but before he could give her an answer she stormed into the bedroom and I held my breath, scared to make any noise at all. "You see" Oliver said, sounding relieved I wasn't still lying in his bed without any clothes on.
"I'm sorry" Hannah sighed "I know we're not together and you can see who you want to but I just thought that with how we've been acting with eachother lately you wanted the same things that I did. I shouldn't of accused you, you didn't deserve that I'm just worried that you'll find someone else or Veronica will suddenly walk back into your life like she always does."
"Hannah..." Oliver began but she cut him off
"I know you don't like talking about her but she always just shows up when she's not wanted and it's not fair on you or the kids, you're better off without her all of you are, you don't have to do things alone anymore...I'll see you later." And with that she walked out of the door.
The tears began to sting my eyes and anger raged around my body. I could hear Oliver sigh when I walked out into the bedroom "Veronica..."
"No, this shouldn't of happened and this definitely shouldn't of happened." I relied, pointing my finger between the two of us.
"I wanted this to happen!" Oliver cried and walked over to me "Trust me okay? I pick you, I will always pick you and I know this will be hard considering everything that's happened but we can start again, try and make things right, fix our family, we can go home and be with our kids if we really want to."
"It's not that easy." I mumbled
"Yes it fucking is Veronica and when you say stuff like this it just makes me think that you don't really want to come home and be a family so where does that leave us?" He shouted making me flinch
"I do want that but what about Hannah, what about the guys?"
"There is no me and Hannah, she's been helping out and I guess last night she tried to make something happen but I've found you again and the guys don't hate you, they spent ages looking for you when you went missing, we can talk to them, there's nothing we can't do."
I took a deep breath and ran my fingers through my hair, Oliver came towards me and placed his hands on my waist, pulling me into him. "So what will it be?" He whispered into my ear, planting kisses on my neck causing goosebumps to rise.
"Okay..." I chuckled "I'll come home."
