"Australia." I beamed, nudging Kai's arm. "I always loved it here."
"You seem happier." He said, referring to my mood earlier. I forced a laugh and shook my head.
"I'm just happy to be off that plane." I lied, not wanting to think about that. It was still tearing my mind in half. Kai looked at me for a few seconds and I hopped onto his back. "To the beach Malachai."
He laughed, kissing me quickly. I smiled. "It's nice of Stefan and Valerie to watch Gray for us."
"I mean you didn't really give them a choice Kai."
"It's my fault Stefan lost, in our race."
"Kai, you cheated." I recalled, reminding of the five second head start he gave himself by putting a spell on Stefan.
He smirked. "I just work smarter."
I laughed, ruffling his hair, while he walk down to the beach from our hotel. Stefan and Valerie took Grayson with them to the city as they explored the city in hopes for answers.
Eventually Kai stopped walking and I hopped off his back. "This is a good stop." I said, noticing there was a good distance between us and the ocean.
The corner of his lips lifted and I laid down our towels. I lowered my sunglasses to look at him. "Are you going in the ocean?"
He nodded. "Of course, I want to try surfing."
"Surfing?" Kai nodded. I shrugged. "Just don't lose your daylight ring."
"Never." He waved his fingers in my face, showing all of rings.
"Well have fun, I'll be sunbathing."
"Can I apply your sun cream?"
"I don't need it."
Kai shrugged. "I want to apply it, so lie down."
I pursed my lips together and did what he said, I laid down on my stomach and rested my head on my folded arms. I heard Kai kneel down beside me.
"Good girl." He said under his breath since he knew I would hear. I grinned and looked at him. He was smirking and lifted up his sunglasses to wink.
I just shook my head and looked away. I felt the sun cream touch my skin and shuddered as it was cool. I closed my eyes and felt his hands run along my back. I moaned when he rubbed the sun cream into my shoulders and heard him suck in a breath. I smirked and moaned again when his hands rubbed the sun cream into the back of thighs.
I felt his presence by my ear. "Don't start something you can't finish." Was all he said in my ear.
I bit my lip and hid my face in my arms. Kai laughed and slapped my ass. "That's what I thought." He said, rubbing the sun cream into my lower back.
++++
"Kai's." An unfamiliar voice read out.
I lifted up my head and moved my sunglasses onto my head to see a man standing beside me. I squinted my eyes to see his shaggy blonde hair with green eyes, a few faint freckles across his nose.
Cute.
"Who is Kai?" He wondered with a strong Australian accent.
"My boyfriend." I replied. "And can you move please, you're in the way of my sun tanning."
