"We've been driving for ages." I complained again. "I'm bored out of my mind."
"I have an idea to keep you busy." Kai smirked, I rolled my eyes shoving his arm and he chuckled.
"I've already done that Malachai." I tutted, fixing my sunglasses back down.
"It wouldn't be so bad to do it again." He shrugged. I shook my head and just turned up the music. "Besides you wanted to move that woman's body so we missed our flight."
"It was the right thing to do, and the flowers were a nice touch." Kai and I were driving back home to Mystic Falls, we were swapping between who drove but Kai mainly did most of the driving because I kept getting distracted on my phone.
"How much longer?" I asked Kai, lowering the volume as the song came to an end.
He shrugged. "A lot more hours, Ri."
I groaned, resting my head on the window. "Can we please stop? I need to move my legs before they fall off."
"No, Ri." He replied and I groaned again. "You're the one is who wants us to get home quick."
"Yeah but..." I shrugged. "I'm bored."
"So am I, but I'm the better driver."
"I wouldn't say-" Kai clasped his hand over my mouth, I glared.
"I'm the better driver since I don't nearly drive into other cars because of my phone." I rolled my eyes and went to lick his hand but Kai moved it, before I could. I laughed and he leaned over to kiss his cheek.
"I didn't agree to a dog by the way."
Kai shrugged. "What's so bad about a dog, Ri?"
I rolled my eyes. "So bad about a dog?" I repeated. "Kai, we don't even have a proper house."
"Don't you have an apartment?"
"Yeah but-"
"A perfect home for a dog."
"I'm still not sure about this dog thing."
Kai hummed, putting his hand on my thigh while he drove. "I agree." He shrugged, a smirk forming on his lips. "We already have you, no point for a dog."
I slapped his arm. "How dare you call me a dog?"
He laughed, shrugging slightly. "I didn't call you a dog, Ri." Kai looked at me, trying not to laugh. "I called you a bitch."
He began laughing and I gasped punching his arm hard. I scowled. "You're such a prick, Malachai."
"You know you love me Ri."
I frowned but turned away to hide my smile, covering my mouth with my hand. I took a deep breath, putting on a blank expression before I looked over to him again.
"Are you-" I couldn't do it, I bursted out laughing.
That was a good one. I thought, I had to admit. It impressed me.
I put my hand over his and squeezed it. He moved his hand to my inner thigh. I glanced at him but he kept looking ahead at the road while he drove dangerously fast. I grinned and opened my legs wider for him. Kai smirked.
"Don't crash now." I told him. He looked at me and winked.
++++
"You do realise we don't even need food." Kai said. I shrugged and continued to lick my ice cream. "I can't believe you made me stop for ice cream."
