DARSEY'S POV:

Where is he? Is this his idea of fun? Bringing me out here then ditching me?

I hold back tears as I pull out my phone. No calls or texts. I dial Louis' number.

"Louis can you come and get me?" I say, my voice cracking.

"Yeah," he sounds sleepy. "Where are you?" he asks.

"I'm not sure. It's a fountain. It's a little ways off the freeway in some trees." I try and explain.

"Oh I know what you're talking about. But why are you there?" he says as I hear him turn on his car.

"I'll explain when your here," I huff.

I find my way back to where Harry's car should be but it's gone.

Ouch.

After standing emotionlessly for a long while, Louis pulls up.

Immediately as I sit down in his front seat I break into sobs.

"Whats wrong? Why are you here?" he questions.

"Ha-Harry." is all I can stutter out.

"What did he do?" he grumbles, his eyes darkening.

I explain how he brought me here then just left me, and by the time I'm finished Louis is breathing heavily, his chest heaving.

"Man, the next time I see that-"

He stops when I sob again.

We pull up the driveway and make our way inside.

Louis embraces me for a few moments before pulling me to the couch. He sits down and I take my place next to him, cuddling up into his side. He lays a blanket over both of us and we mutter back and forth aimlessly before drifting off to sleep.

I'm jerked awake when my phone vibrates for the 8th time. I sleepily look at it. It's 3 AM who's even trying to text me?

I squint at the screen and see 6 missed calls and 4 messages. All from Harry.

*Darsey are you ok?*

*Are you safe?*

*Answer the phone!*

*Did they find you?*

What is he even talking about? I reply something though I'm not quite sure what I said. I'll deal with his crap in the morning. I lay my head back on Louis' chest and he wraps his arm around me and moans softly in his sleep. Just as I begin to drift again I get a call. I groan before answering.

"Hello?" I manage, my voice thick with sleep.

"Are you home?" he asks sternly.

"Yeah. Thanks for the ride," I snap.

"No I- they just..."

"Who?" I ask quietly, trying not to wake Louis.

"Nevermind. Just be careful. I'll be there in the morning to explain." he says.

"What if I don't want to see you?" my voice comes out as a whine.

"You left me in the middle of no where on our first real date." I remind him.

"I know but-"

"Darsey what are you doing?' Louis lifts his head up.

"Are you sleeping with Louis?" Harry hisses.

"What? No! Well," I stumble. It's to early for this...

He exhales and I can practically hear his stress.

"It's not like that," I decide.

"Whatever. I just need to talk to you. Like, now." he demands.

"But I'm tired," I sigh like a child.

"I don't care. I'm coming over," he says before hanging up.

Louis was already fast asleep again and I laid back down until I heard a knock. I heaved myself up and opened it.

"Let's talk outside," I suggest.

"No. No, inside or somewhere out of sight." he says.

I roll my eyes and lead him inside and up the stairs. He doesnt make sense. We sit on my balcony and I don't even bother to be nice to him.

HARRY'S POV:

"I didn't ditch you. I got jumped by some random guys." I lie. I did get beat up, but they definitely weren't random guys. She can't know the real reason.. She'd leave me before I had a chance to explain.

"Sure," she replies, clearly not believing my tale.

"I swear! You want to see the bruises?" I challenge. She nods and I lift my shirt, showing her the battle scars. Her eyes go wide, but I'm not sure if it's because of the cuts; She curiously stares at my tattoos. I lower my shirt.

"Now do you believe me?" I groan hopefully.

"Yeah I guess," she mutters.

"Let me make it up to you," I practically beg

She huffs. "Fine. But I'd avoid Louis if I were you. He really hates you." she smirks.

"Yeah, I know." I mumble.

"Why exactly does he hate you so much?" she cocks her head.

"Jealousy," I smirk.

"I'm sure that's true," she sarcastically replies. I shrug and chuckle lightly.

"I'm tired. Make it up to me tomorrow?" she says.

"Sure," I reply. She leads me downstairs and I find Louis still passed out on the couch. Darsey opens the door for me and smiles.

"See you tomorrow," I say, trying to sound up beat. But I know that when I go she'll go right back into Louis' arms.
