HARRY'S POV:
As we drive towards my house, Darsey seems like she wants to say something. She nervously shifts in her seat.
"Harry I have to tell you something." she says quietly.
"That's always a good way to start a conversation." I smirk sarcastically.
That's when she tells me something that flips my mood completely.
"You kissed Louis?" My heart sinks.
"He kissed me!" she defends.
"And you kissed him back!" I run my fingers through my hair again.
She looks away out the window.
This is what I get for trying to be in another relationship. The jealousy inside me makes my blood boil and I clench my fists on the wheel so tightly my knuckles turn white.
Ive been through so many relationships that end in failure.
I just thought I was the one that was going to screw it up.
"Harry it didn't mean anything," she says, her voice quiet.
"You know I hate it when you even talk to any other guy," I say.
"Well I'm not going to give up my best friend for you!" she waves her hands in the air.
"He obviously doesn't consider you as his best friend. He kissed you, Darsey! Best friends don't kiss each other!" I yell.
"I know Harry, I'm sorry." she apologizes.
"It would kill you if I lived with some girl, wouldn't it?" I speak up as I pull into my neighborhood. "It would kill you if I so much as hung out with another girl alone."
"Yeah, it would. I won't do it again, Harry. It didn't mean anything to me." she says.
DARSEYS POV:
I lied. The kiss made my heart flutter. Not as much as when I kiss Harry but it still did. But I need Harry to forgive me. Even though I've known him for a few months, I still feel so attached to him. I can't feel like this though; it's making me vulnerable. But I just can't help it; something about him is so brilliant and attractive to me. I couldn't stay away even if I tried, and I feel like I know him better then anyone else- and that seems to satisfy me.
"Please forgive me," I practically whine.
"How do I know you won't go home and do it again?" he asks, his anger clear in his voice.
"You don't know that. But you can trust me," I say.
"And how do I know youre not going to just give up on me and get with Louis instead?" he asks again, his loud tone not softening.
He sighs and gets out of his car, waiting for an answer. I get out as well. Why are we at his house? I guess I didn't realize where he was going. I don't mind though, if it means I get to spend more time with him- even if he is in a pissy mood and we're fighting.
"I wont, Harry. How can I show you that i would rather be with you then him?"
"Just... Stay with me," he says quietly. "Just for the night." he covers quickly.
He's forgiving me this quickly? Well that's not at all what I expected.
Louis is going to hate that. But I don't think I'll be able to show Harry that I'm sorry any other way. Plus, it's not like Louis owns me. He's my best friend, not my parent.
"Okay," I give in. I see his mood lighten a little and he turns to walk into his house. I follow him, unhesitant.
When we get in his house I check the time and see it's 4 o'clock.
"I'm hungry," I speak up.
"Me too," He agrees, opening the fridge.
He looks back at me with a playful glow in his brilliant emerald eyes.
"Lets bake something," he muses, his bad mood completely dissolved.
"I suck at baking, but if you want to." I chuckle. He nods and pulls out random ingredients.
"What are we making?" I ask, walking over next to him.
"Cake," he smiles. I help him prepare and when we're finally ready he instructs me what to do.
"Mix, but make sure it's not to slow or to fast." he explains with a concentrated look on his face as he slides a bowl of frosting over to me.
I grab the whisk and begin mixing.
"No, no, no." he scolds teasingly. He walks around behind me and wraps his arms around mine and guides me. I'm surprised by his romantic gesture and I just smile. He's so amazing when we're alone at his house but out in public his completely different.
"You think you got it now?" he asks. I nod, even though I don't want him to let go. He pulls away and starts preparing some other ingredient.
When I think it's ready, he sticks his finger in it and tastes it. After a few seconds of over exaggerating his facial expressions as he analyzes the frosting I had made, he smiles. "Very delicious." his other hand disappears behind his back before holding it up to my face and tapping my nose playfully, leaving a white puff of flour on my face.
"So that's how it's going to be?" I muse, sneakily dipping my hand in the flour as well. He looks over to see what I'm doing only to get a face full of flour. I break into laughter, clutching my stomach and falling to the floor. He smirks and rolls his eyes before offering to help me up. I grab his hand and he pulls me in till I'm inches from his face. He swings me down and leans over me for a few seconds. I think he's going to kiss me but instead he puffs more flour in my face.
"You are quite the trouble maker aren't you Mr. Styles?" I taunt.
He pulls me back up and looks as though he's thinking.
"I guess you could say that," he mutters before locking his lips onto mine, my stomach lighting up with butterflies once more. I can feel him in my veins, causing my whole body to electrify at his touch.
When he pulls away I grab the collar of his shirt and pull him in again, savoring every second.
A sudden bang at the door interrupts us. He groans and turns away and looks around the corner at the front door.
He curses under his breath.
"What?" I ask.
"It's Cedric," he groans
"Who's Cedric?" I ask.
"A guy I really don't like," he says before walking towards the door and slowly opening it.
I can't hear much of their conversation but it involves Harry being covered in flour and some friend of theirs. And... Me? I hear my name mentioned and before I can step into view I hear the door shut.
Harry walks back into the room with a blank look on his face.
"What did he need?"
"He was asking about my friend," he replies before changing the subject. "Let's finish this shall we?"
(I wrote this kind of fast sorry:/ hope you like it so far!!Xx)
