*I'll pick you up in a few hours*

I text Darsey as I slide a beanie over my head and put on my jacket over my plain black shirt.

I find myself grinning when she replies.

*Ok(: see you soon*

I walk outside and get in my car before slowly making my way to James's house. I know I'm going to regret this...

When I finally arrive I see him and Cruise out front. Cruise's face was covered in bruises and scratches from our little show down, which made him look even more intimidating then he already did.

I get out of my truck and trudge over to them.

"Styles," James greets me with the usual smirk on his face that makes me want to pound him into the ground.

"What do you want," I groan, not making eye contact with him.

"I just want to remind you," he chuckles, unfolding his arms. "Even though you think we're on good terms, we're not. I'm still after you and I will get my revenge. The only reason I'm not breaking every bone in your body right now is because I'm not in the mood to get arrested. But you know what? I'm off 24/7 police surveillance in 2 days. Then," he pauses to laugh. "You and that little girlfriend of yours are both done for."

Cruise cracks his knuckles and grins.

"She's not my girlfriend! Come after me all you want but she's done nothing. I hardly even know who she is." I take a daring step forward.

"Oh I hardly believe that," he advances as well, his haunting grin unwavering.

Cruise swings out at me, knocking the side of my head with his huge fist. I stumble backwards and furrow my eye brows. This was James's way of warning me. And I'm not fighting back.

"I'm serious," I growl. "She's just a friend. Going after her isn't going to effect me. I don't care for anyone but myself."

"Alright," he backs off. "Beating you will be enough."

I turn and swing my car door open as he adds a sentence that sends a chill down my spine.

"For now." he laughs, Cruise joining him.

I slam the door shut before flooring it off, heaving angrily.
