I walk in to sit with Zayn when I see a girl sitting next to him, giggling and chatting. He motions for me to sit down as well.

Well this is awkward.

I sit and give her an uneasy smile.

"What did he say?" she asks.

I give Zayn a confused look. How did she know what was happening?

"Oh, this is Carly. She's a friend if Harry's and I." He introduced her. I force a smile and sit down. "And I also told her the situation." he added.

I nod slowly before speaking up.

"He just said some weird confusing stuff then pleaded for me to forgive him. I said I needed time but I don't think I'll give in. He just nodded and walked off sadly," I summarize quietly.

"Wait slow down. He apologized to you?" Carly asked.

"Yes.." I reply, confused why she seemed so shocked.

"That is not like him at all. I can honestly say I've never heard him apologize to anyone for anything."

What?

He doesn't ever apologize? What does that mean? Was he really sorry?

Not even when-" she paused and coughed as if she didn't mean to say the lat part.

"Not even when what?" I push curiously.

"Oh, nothing. I've got to get going. Bye Zayn, bye Daisy." she said dismissively before getting up and leaving.

"Did she just call you Daisy?" Zayn chuckled.

"Yeah." I answer, my mind hooked on her sentence. Not even when what? "Do you know what she was going to say?" I ask Zayn. Before he can answer, the waiter that I see so often brings out our food that Zayn had ordered.

"Zayn." I repeat as he eats his food hungrily.

"What? Oh, n-no. I don't." he stuttered. Sure he doesn't. Maybe I shouldn't know. Maybe it will ruin everything.

No, that can't be. What could he possibly have done that's so bad?
