DARSEYS POV:
"Hey Harry, what's up?" I open the door with a smile.
I fall silent when I see his flat expression.
"I... Uh... I have to talk to you," he stares at the ground.
"Oh, ok." my heart drops.
He turns and walks out front and I follow him confusedly. I thought he always wanted to 'talk' inside? Why is he suddenly wanting to out front? What does he even want to talk about? Ugh. My head is spinning, my legs going weak.
After glancing over his shoulder He turns and faces me, locking his red, sad eyes with me for a few seconds before looking away again. His breathing picks up, sending the foggy steam into the cold air. I see a tear slowly roll down his face. He quickly rubs it off, probably hoping I didn't notice, which makes it all the worse
"Harry what is it?" I say quietly.
"I-I think that..." he trails off, causing me to begin to tremble anxiously.
"Think what?" I push.
"We shouldn't be seeing each other any more." he says. All my air is knocked out of me. Even though the sun is down I feel as though it's bright as day. My whole body seems to shut down and I can hardly speak.
"Why?" I choke out.
"Becuase..." he replies quietly.
"Harry!" I push him back as tears begin streaming down my face. I stand pathetically in front of him as he stands with no emotion. The only thing that shows any life is his red nose and his eyes slightly puffy and red.
"I'm not interested in you," he forces out. I stumble backwards and feel as though I might pass out.
"I-I never was." he adds quietly.
Ouch.
"Everything you said... Was a lie? You played me! I can't believe this... I lost everything because of you. I gave up everything for you! Why would you do this? Why me?" I cry. I know I'm overdoing it but anger and despair cloud my thoughts. "No, I don't want an answer." I stop him before he speaks.
"You can just get the h*** out of here and never talk to me again. I don't know what I ever saw in you. And that I actually thought we had a future. But no. Louis was right about you. You are a selfish whore that doesn't care about anyone but yourself." I completely lose it.
"You thought we had a future?" he asks. But his voice isn't mocking or humorous. It sounds soft and empty.
"Yeah," I say pathetically. "But I guess I was just being the immature naive girl I am," I huff before turning and charging into the house, leaving Harry standing there. I practically tackle Louis who stands in the kitchen, sobbing.
He wraps his arms around me when he noticed I'm crying. His strong arms around me make me feel a little better, but my heart still throbs worse then ever before. I clutch onto his arms and cry onto his firm chest. He gently runs his fingers along my back.
"What happened?" he asks quietly, holding me in front of him.
"Harry said he never cared for me." I squeak pathetically.
Louis began steaming practically. He called for Liam who was upstairs before charging out the front door. Liam rushed downstairs and comforted me while Louis was outside doing who knows what. But I don't care... All I can think about is how much I hate Harry, but love him at the same time.
HARRY'S POV:
I turn and see Jason grinning in his car, on the phone with James- explaining in detail how I just broke Darsey's heart.
I get into my car loudly and slam the door shut. I turn the radio off that played a song that fit this situation all to well and begin cursing loudly, cussing everyone and everything out. I hate my life. I hate James. I hate my parents. I hate the Circle. I hate myself. But I love her. More then anything in my life. Yet I just broke her heart... But she can't can't know why.
Without realizing it I show up at James's house. I get out of the car and storm up his steps. I knock hastily and he answers almost immediately. with out giving him anytime to react I pull him outside by his collar and slam his face on the hood of my car repeatedly. He struggles to get away from me but I'm way stronger then him.
By the time someone else is interferes, James looks as though his face got shredded by a grater. I hardly notice Josh's car pull up, but seconds later he pulls me back only for me to pound his stomach and kick him to the ground, wailing into his sides repeatedly as James lay wreathing in pain behind me. When I'm sure Josh is unconscious, I hear James.
"Jason says you did a good job breaking her heart," he chuckles. I spin around and kick him in the side.
He flinches and holds his stomach in pain.
"He said that you did exactly as you were told." he wheezes. "And she'll never take you back. It's exactly what I needed from you. My revenge is complete. Well, almost."
I bend over and grab his collar once more, pulling him up and slamming him on the hood of my truck again. I raise my fist.
"She's means everything to me and you just made me break up with her or you threatened to kill her. You even sent Jason to watch me shatter her heart. This is worse then revenge. This is f***ing torture!" I yell into his face.
"I hate you!" I'm cut off when I hear a car behind me. Louis. In my distraction, James shoved me off of him and pulled out a knife he kept in his pocket. He pinned me to the ground and held it up to my neck.
"If I get rid of you know, then she has no one to protect her. I'll go in after her- and tell her that you got on a plane and left. I'll say that you were a terrible person that never deserved her and I'll tell her you murdered my girlfriend and that I miss her dearly. She'll end up falling for me and you will just sit back and watch as I tear your life apart piece by piece." he snarls.
"I didn't murder her!" I exclaim as I notice Louis approaching us, James oblivious to him.
"Well, I'm still going after Darsey whether you like it or not- you can know how it feels." he grins evilly.
"Over my dead body," I hiss through my teeth, struggling to get out from under him.
James raises his knife at me and I brace myself for impact, but instead James is knocked off me. I look up to see Louis pounding him down. I've never seen him so angry before- and he's a lot stronger then I thought. I keep Josh in the corner of my eye to ensure he stays down before heaving myself up and stalking over to Louis and James.
"Louis, he's knocked out! If you hit him anymore you're going to kill him," I say. He turns to me.
"I didn't do that for you. I could've watched him beat you; But he mentioned her. How could you get her mixed up in this?" he hisses. I glare at him, not giving an answer.
"I wasn't intending on it!" I eventually say. "You understand too. You love her," I add.
"What? No I don't," I can tell he's lying.
"You suck at lying." I say.
"Okay fine. You know what? I love her. And I have since I met her. I know she used to feel the same; But ever since you came along she hasn't. She cares about you more then she cares about herself. And you broke up with her." his words sting like knives.
"I had to!"
"And why is that?" he pushes.
"I-I can't tell you," I mutter. I just can't.
"Well I hope you know you just lost the greatest thing that's ever happened to you," he chides before getting back in his sports car and swerving away.
