Darsey's pov:

James. The one Harry's trying to hide me from. The one who's sister died in a car accident with Harry. The one who wants to get me to get back at Harry. I'm screwed.

"I assume you know me by the look on your face?" He muses with a smirk. His blonde hair and piercing blue eyes make his skin seem pale. In a way, he resembles a snake, and I am his prey.

I nod slowly, my heart pounding like a bird against my chest as it's cage. I glance at my phone and can vaguely hear Louis repeating my name. Seconds later he ends the call and I feel my last bit of hope dissolve into thin air.

"So, you and Harry are back together now?" he asks with a wicked grin.

"How do you know that?"

"I have eyes everywhere, darling."

I'm speechless. Did they see us on the balcony? No they couldn't have. He couldn't possibly see us from the grass below... Could he?

"You and Styles had a nice time on the terrace, yes?" he practically reads my mind.

When I don't answer he steps closer to me.

"What do you see in that whore?" he questions me.

"Harry isn't a whore." Is all I can manage to say.

"He slept with my girlfriend while we were together. Three times. Then he went on to kill her. How could you possibly love him?" He sneers, hatred lacing his words thickly.

"Because Harry has changed." I'm not putting up a very good fight here. Three times? Ugh.

"People don't just change," he says. "but let's say he did. That doesn't mean he doesn't deserve revenge for what he did to me."

His words send chills down my spine and I can't help but notice a lustful glow in his eyes.

"What are you going to do to get revenge on him?" I ask, my mouth going dry as my imagination runs wild about all the things he could do to me. Why'd I come out here alone?

"I'm going to do you."

What?

He steps closer, pinning me against the wall.

"You're a very pretty girl, so it seems I'll be benefitting from this in more then one way."

I can't understand what he's saying due to my pounding heartbeat and the tears that are threatening to break through at any moment.

"No," I manage.

"No? I don't believe you have much of a choice."

"Someone will see us. They'll know what happened if I can't be found."

"I'm afraid everyone is a bit to drunk to even remember their own name, love." he's inches from my face now and I can't stand it. I debate screaming but think that will make things worse. Just as I open my mouth to speak I hear the door swing open and Harry's voice.

"Back the h*** up." he demands James.

Finally.

"What are you going to do, Styles? I've got your girl," he muses, wrapping his arm around me as a tear breaks loose.

Harry lets out a noise that's a mix of a gasp and a growl before advancing forward, causing James to tighten his grip around me. I wince and glance over looking at a group of kids that are watching us intently.

"I'm going to pound your face in." he says shortly, not giving James any reaction time before lashing out and successfully blowing him backwards into a wall. Luckily, Harry grabbed hold of my arm and pulled me into him, saving me from being dragged back with James. Before he could regain his bearings, Harry picked up my phone and we hurried out to his truck.

"Did he touch you?" he asks, still riled up. I'm practically pinned once more against his car as he looks down at me, anger painting his concerned face. When I don't answer he repeats it, louder.

"No, but he was saying..."

"Was saying what?" he presses when I hesitate.

"He was going to get back at you the same way you hurt him." I say, my words effecting him tremendously.

"Let's get out of here." he huffs as he opens the door and I get in quickly.

Harry's pov:

For most of the drive, I stay silent, clenching the steering wheel until my knuckles were white. How dare he even look at Darsey, let alone threaten her! I can't imagine what would have happened if Louis didn't call and tell me what had happened. I wouldn't have found her and he'd probably be all over my girlfriend right now.

I hate him. More loathing then I've ever felt toward anyone before.

I glance over at her and can see her trembling. Who the h*** does he think he is doing this to her? I place my hand on her thigh and she seems to calm down at my touch.

"Would he really do that to me?" she asks, her voice small.

"I don't know," yes he would. I just don't want to freak her out. "When does Louis get back in town?" I ask.

"Two days." she replies, running her fingers through her hair the way se does when she's nervous.

"Stay with me," I blurt out.

"What?" she asks, looking at me with a slight smile on her face. I have to tear my eyes away from her and focus on the road, but it's hard. She looks so sexy in her black dress and the way her eyes light up at my every word light a fire inside of me.

"Just until Louis is back." ugh I hate him. He's such a little suck up to Darsey. Whatever she doesn't love him like she loves me and that pleases me. "I don't want you alone." I say, trying not to sound awkward. I've never asked a girl to stay with me. I mean, sure I've slept with many but I've never asked any of them to. I cringe at the thought of all the annoying girls I've hooked up with. None of them compare to Darsey at all.

"Okay." she says. I hear the joy behind her words and I can't help but smile. A few minutes ago she was almost crying and a simple gesture from me and she's happy.

"I don't have clothes," she points out as we turn into my neighborhood.

"You can wear mine. We'll pick up some of your stuff tomorrow morning I just don't want to right now at 2 am." I reply. The thought of her in my clothes turns me on for some reason. I have no idea why but she seems delighted by the idea as well.

A part of me is still nervous about being with her. After the encounter with James it makes me realize how serious he is. But I can't stand the thought of being away from her longer; however if it's the only way to keep her unharmed I might have to eventually leave her permanently.
