Dear Diary,
It felt good to have my brothers and sister back around. I felt like I had something to wake up to now. I had a reason to smile. I've been sitting, trying to find myself a lot lately. I have even made myself a promise. I promised myself to start thinking in a positive mindset. I promised myself to start doing things that makes me happy. I promised myself to start looking out for myself. I promised myself to make a change. A positive change.
Love,
Miranda"M, hurry yo' ass up!" Drew yelled from across the street. I shook my head while locking the front door.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I yelled back.
Drew is so impatient. I threw my purse over my shoulder then made my way down the stairs of the complex. Today Drew was taking me to see a few places. I'm honestly happy to be looking for houses. I'm really ready to move out of this complex. It seems like everyday it's getting worse out here. I'm just not comfortable here.
Last night I enjoyed myself with my brothers and sister. We joked all night, ate, watched a few TV shows and just enjoyed each other presences. Mia even braided my hair and she honestly did a good job. When it was time for them to leave, Mia and DJ did not want to leave. They wanted to stay the night with me and I wanted my babies to, but they couldn't. My mama called Drew's phone, telling him to bring them home and asking him why does he have them out this late. She messed up everybody's mood. Typical her.
Once I reached the car I opened the passengers door and got in.
"It don't make no sense how long it takes you to get ready." Drew said, shaking his head while pulling off. I laughed while throwing my seat belt on.
"Shut up." I told him.
"I don't take that long, your just impatient."
"Nah man, yo' ass take all day to get dressed."
I fanned him off while throwing my braid over my shoulder. All this boy do is complain. He's so impatient. That's what it is.
I took the time to look at myself and I honestly looked good. I sported a net like body suit with of course a bralette underneath, a pair of distressed Balmain jeans and my black Louboutin heels. Matching my outfit with my black Celine bag and my diamond earrings and bracelet. I looked amazing today.
"So check it, I talked to my girl and she say she gone get you this job with ha'." Drew let out with his left arm on the steering wheel and his right playing in his chin hair like he always did. I turned in my seat at him with a smirk.
"Wait, you have a girlfriend?" I asked. He stared ahead of him, realizing he just spilled the tea. Ahhh!
"Yeah." He lowly let out.
"What's her name?"
"Leah."
"Awww.." I cooed, pinching his cheek.
"My little Drew-Drew finally settled down."
"Aye!" He said, fanning me off.
"What I tell you 'bout that shit M?"
I laughed seeing his face expression. He was so serious. He should be used to me babying him.
"But really Drew, I'm glad to see you settled down." I told him.
"Yeah man, messin' with all these broads wasn't doin' shit for me." He uttered.
Drew was in middle school and he had a whole bunch of little girls he was messing with. I just know in highschool he was a mess. I'm glad to hear he settled down though.
