Dear Diary,
I once read that "Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts." I've never related to something more in my life. You have the choice to choose positivity. You have the choice to choose happiness. You have the choice to choose things that are best for you. Things that are good for you. And when I say good for you, I mean you as a whole. Your mind, body and spirit. Choose things that positively feed your soul, your mental and your spiritual. You have the right to do so. Because at the end of the day, your happiness is determined by your positivity and those positive thoughts that flood your mind. Positivity is a choice and me, I'm finally choosing positivity.
Love Miranda
"Ah man."I let out as my eyes searched my surroundings.
"I forgot my skittles in the car."I said with a pout as we stood near the entrance of the school.
Here we are just arriving to DJ's basketball game. It's his last game of the season. I know this is both bitter sweet for my baby. He's been killing each game and enjoying it all, but now it's all coming to an end until next school year. My baby loves basketball, so I know he's not going to know what to do without it over these next months. That time of year will be back here in no time though.
I had grabbed me a few snacks from the house before we left out, but ofcourse I forgot my snacks in the car. It was so packed here today, we were rushing to make sure we got good seats. And on top of that, my mind been has been jam packed with things lately, I can forget the smallest things.
"You want me to go get it?"Trey questioned, looking down at me.
"Would you babe?"I said really wanting him to. I do not feel like making that walk all the way back.
"I got you, just make sure you grab our seats."Trey said making me nod.
He headed back towards the parking lot as Mia, DJ and I made our way into the school. DJ headed right into the locker room to meet up with the rest of the team. After getting our tickets, we headed right into the gymnasium seeing the many people began to fill the bleachers. I made sure to grab us some good seats not too high up or not too close to the floor. Drew and Leah are on their way along with Chris and Dani. Usually the whole gang would always meet up for the kids game or anything pertaining to family events, but Lissa and Ant have to work so they had to bail on this game. Ofcourse they sent DJ his well wishes and good lucks though.
I took a seat in the bleachers with Mia sitting beside me. I couldn't help to feel overly excited for this game for some reason. It's the last game of the season and my baby and his team has been killing it all season. I'm happy I've been able to support them all at each game and see my little brother do what he loves to do. It's the best feeling in the world.
I looked up to see Trey walking in along with the rest of the gang. They all looked just as excited for this game as I am.
"Hi my babies."I admitted, immediately greeting them once they approached us.
"What's up sis."Chris said as we shared a hug.
"Hey Chris."
"Hi bestfriend looking good as always. My nephew really doing that!"Dani said making me laugh as we shared a hug. I can not with this girl.
