"Good lookin' bruh." I stated, looking at my fresh cut in the mirror.

"No problem man, you know I got you." My boy Lance said as he put his things away.

I'm leaving for LA today and ofcourse I had to have my boy Lance come through and give me a fresh cut. It's only right. He got me right too. I'm lowkey geeked about being in LA for a little bit. Even though I'm going there for business, I'll have a little time to myself and to free my mind. I need that.

I gave Lance dap before walking him to the door and letting him out. Once I buzzed him out the gate I made my way upstairs, to get me an outfit together. My room was a damn mess. I been trying to pack my shit up since yesterday. It's just too much for me. I have too much to pack.

I shot Pookie a quick text, letting her know I'd be to scoop her in a lil bit. I'm really gone miss my baby. I don't know why her ass won't just roll with me. She could use a vacation and I honestly want her to come with me. But, I understand she has shit to do here, so I can't even be mad that she's not going.

I made my way to my closet and put me a fit together really quick. It wasn't nothing major because I honestly didn't feel like getting dressed. I just wanted to chill a bit today before my flight because I know it's going to be a long one.

Once I was all ready, I headed out in my Rolls Royce. I plugged my phone into the aux cord, jamming to my music the whole ride. I had to drop through on all my gyms before I headed to Pookie's. I had money to pick up, I needed to make sure everything was going good and will be good till I get back.

I pulled up to Pookie's house, parking my car in the driveway. I checked myself in the mirror before making my way onto her porch. I knocked on the door, stuffing my phone in my pocket. I could hear her make her way to the door before it pushed open. I immediately smiled seeing my baby. She was looking good as always.

"Hey babe." She said, leaning up and pecking my lips.

"What's up with ya, you looking good girl." I uttered with a smirk, taking my hand and spinning her around. Her ass sat out there perfectly as always. My baby is so damn fine.

"Thank you, you do to."

"Thank you baby, you ready to head out?"

She nodded her head, stepping out the house. She locked it up before we made our way to my car. I helped her in before I got in myself and took off. I really didn't have anything to do today. I just wanted to spend some time with Pookie before I head out tonight.

I glared over at her as she just stared out the window. From the look on her face I could tell she was thinking. I didn't know what she was thinking about, but I knew it had to be something because she was zoning out on my ass.

"You alright baby? You seem like something on your mind." I stated, glaring over at her before looking back at the road.

"Yeah, I'm good."She said, looking off to the side. I couldn't see her face to tell if she was lying, but I knew she was.

"Don't lie to me, Pookie." I said, looking over at her.

"I'm not. I'm really good." She told me, with a smile. I just stared at her for a minute before turning my head back to the road.

It's crazy how Pookie will still try to hide shit from me. I would've thought by now she would know I know when she's lying. I can tell something is wrong with her, but if she don't want to tell me, she doesn't have to. I just hope its not something serious.

I pulled up to my mama house, parking the car. I decided to bring Pookie here because I have to see my mama before I leave, plus she been in my ass about bringing Pookie to see her again. I'm tired of her blowing my phone up about that, so I just decided to bring Pookie over today.
