XII: NIGHT OF THE MATING SEASON'S BALL (PART1)

The Alpha chose me to be his first dance and I thought ako na rin ang mapipili nito para maging mate.

I heard giggles and whisperings from all the she-wolves who attended the ball.

I was about to leave when the Alpha ordered his Beta to continue the serenade.

I must be crazy dahil sa mundong ito, wala iyong bagay na tinatawag na mate's pull at mate's connection.

Pero ano iyong naramdam ko na kuryente at matinding init habang nasa loob ako ng mga bisig nito.

What was that ticklish sensation na gumagapang sa bawat himaymay ng aking katawan habang lalo pa akong hinahapit palapit ng Beta. At habang kami ay sumasayaw, halos tumigil ang oras dahil tanging nasa binata lang ang aking atensyon.

I was not expecting that cause I've never felt something like that before.

Nakawiwindang at nakawawala sa tamang pag-iisip.

Me and Kitten purred as those words made us tickled our sensitive nerves to the highest level.

I gulped as my face flushed brightly red.

I took a deep breath and shook my head.

This should be stop kundi, baka hindi ko na mapigilan pa ang aking sarili.

Sakto namang natapos ang first music ng serenade.

Bumitaw ako sa binata sabay yukod. "You don't have to flatter me Mr.Beta just because the Alpha rejected me," wika ko dito bago ako tumalikod at lumayo rito.

I heard my wolf whimpered and my heart twitched painfully as I left him in the middle of the dance floor. But I immidiately snapped at myself.

I coudn't be possibly falling for that guy.

Thirty minutes later...

"Let's go, Katrina. Wala na tayong mapapala dito. don't fret over that looser Zacria Reid. Ihahanap kita ng mas deserving na lalake and not like that stupid Alpha Mayor!" yaya sa akin ng aking Mom pauwi.

But I was too busy sa pagpapakalunod sa alak sa isang sulok ng Reid's Mansion'sHall para unawain pa ang mga sinasabi nito.

I felt depress pero hindi dahil inayawan ako ng Alpha Mayor.

I felt down for some other reason na 'di ko mapin-point kung ano.

Suddenly, my mother grabbed my arm. She was about to drag me out of that nousy place but I yanked free from her grasp.

"Katrina Clayton, let's go!" Nakikita kong napipika na rin ito sa akin but I don't care.

"Go home alone mom. Goodness! Kung tutuusin, kasalanan mo itong lahat. You gave me false hope and false dream and because of you, napahiya ako sa harap ng marami, mother!"

I saw her jaw dropped from shock but I was too drunk para mapigilan pa ang aking sarili na maglabas ng sama ng loob.

"All your life, wala kang ginawa kundi diktahan ako. May sarili akong buhay mom. Utang na loob, tigilan n'yo na ang pakikialam sa akin cause I'm not a damn kid anymore. I will choose who ever I want at hindi lang dahil iyon ang inutos n'yo kundi 'yon ang gusto ko!"

Hindi ko alam kung ano pa ang mga nasabi ko sa aking ina dahil naramdaman ko na lang na may lumagapak sa aking pisngi.

"You ungrateful child! Hindi kita pinalaki para lang maging ingrata! But if you really want it your way, then suit yourself Katrina. You think a brat like you can find a decent man na gugustuhin ka? Think twice, dear daughter! From now on, hindi na kita pakikialaman. Magsama kayo ng anak ni Edward! Mga walang utang na loob!"

Matapos sabihin ang mga salitang 'yon ay iniwan na ako nito.

I smiled bitterly as I cupped my cheek.

My mother is indeed a drama Queen!

But who cares to be alone huh?

I flinched as I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I automatically turn around and found the mighty Beta of DarkStone pacing forward.

Agad na nasapo ko ang aking kaliwang dibdib nang masilayan ko ang wala nang maskarang guwapong mukha ni Magnum Sasha.

Zacria Reid is maybe hot but this dude infront of me is a gorgeous hunk!

Sapalagay ko, kailangan ko ang Beta ng DarkStone kahit ngayong gabi lang.
