Chapter 1

CEO: If I asked all four of you to come here, it's because I have good news. I mean, I hope you'll take it as good news.

I was standing between 3 girls I barely knew, in front of Starship Entertainment's CEO. He had supposedly good news for us. Him and his good news sometimes...

CEO: We want to debut a girlband in the near future. This is the band we thought of.

While saying this, he pointed each of us with his finger.

WAIT WHAT ??

Does that mean that I would have the chance to finally debut?! I couldn't believe it. The four of us jumped holding hands. We didn't know each other at all, but soon we would have no choice.

I had to call Jooheon to tell him the this!

Oh no, it would be better to tell him in person.

CEO: The preparation will begin in two weeks, then will come the recording of the song and also the learning of the choreography soon after. Since you are rookies like Monsta X, your dorm will be next to theirs. You'll move in next Sunday.

It was awesome. Living right next to my best friend, my boyfriend, I was already looking forward to it. Couldn't wait for the upcoming week.

CEO: You will have more details later this week. Anyway, congratulations.

He took the direction of the exit and we said goodbye, bowing to him.

If I were to live with three other girls for an indeterminate time, it would be best to get to know them.

Me: Nice to meet you. My name is Ha Neul.

The two girls glanced at each other with surprised eyes.

Brunette 1: Aren't you by any chance Jooheon's girlfriend?

The blonde girl jumped and her eyes got wider.

Me: Hum... yes, indeed it's me.

Brunette 2: Wow, lucky you.

I gave them one of my best forced smiles.

Me: So what are your names?

Brunette 2: I'm Suk Hee!

Blonde: Yun!

Brunette 1: And I'm Min Cha. I'm so glad that we can debut together girls.

Yun: Me too! It's so unreal.

We continued to talk for a while, then I excused my early leaving.

I went directly to the boys dormitories by borrowing the car of my father. I couldn't wait to announce them that I was going to debut!

Because of traffic jams, the ride was longer than usual, but I arrived in the best mood possible. I felt that nothing could spoil this wonderful day.

I took the elevator, going up way too slowly for my enthusiasm, and almost ran up to their apartment.

I gave several small knocks on the door but no one answered. I tried again and again. But why weren't they there in such a crucial moment? It was the beginning of the life I've been waiting since forever. Where were they?

I dialed Jooheon's phone number.

No answer.

I dialed I.M's one...

No answer.

I sat in front of the door and decided that I would wait until they return. After 5 minutes, I was already tired. I played different games on my phone and after half an hour, I got up to walk along the corridor to stretch my legs.

Maybe they would come back very late, or even not come back tonight.

Why didn't they answer their phones?!

I decided to leave sticking a note on the door saying to call me when they arrived.

I returned to the agency and spent the afternoon there to finalize a few things. Finally, I took the way back. My phone had not rung at all. Not a sign of life from Jooheon and I.M or even another member.

I don't know if it's the same for you, but when something that makes me really happy happens, I want to shout it from the rooftops. And the fact of not being able to share it with Monsta X's members immediately had somewhat calmed my enthusiasm and my willingness to talk about it.

I parked the car outside the house (it's obvious that I didn't parked it in). I climbed the stairs to the door, head down. I hated having to keep this new for me. The door was locked so I took out my keys and unlocked it. I took off my shoes and went to my room. But when I walked through the kitchen, a crowd of people suddenly appeared in front of me. And they held a long banner where you could see "congratulations" written on it.

I almost fainted because I was so moved. It was too bad not to tell them the news myself, but this surprise brought back the sun in my day which has been joyous and gloomy at once.

I would never have suspected that they could prepare this for me, however, I was very happy.

Jooheon approached me, put his arm around my waist and whispered in my ear: "I knew you would finally make it. "

I gave him a kiss on the ear to thank him, something he hated more than anything, which made him push me back suddenly while laughing.

I.M spent the evening telling me he didn't understand that the agency wants to make me debut, as he considered that I sucked, but he wasobviously joking.

It was the first time that the whole band was at home and it was probably the last (real children these guys). Unable to manage them all simultaneously. And some of my teachers were also present, as well as my father and his girlfriend Eunmi. It's been a while now that they are dating and Eunmi is much less intense than at the beginning. She speaks without thinking less and ask less unnecessary questions.

I already couldn't wait for this adventure to begin for real.
