You hardly remembered his features, his wide nose, his almond shaped hooded eyes. His strong jaw and cold stare.

He looked at you before walking away in the opposite direction.

"Hey!" You shouted after him. He began walking faster and he turned the corner. You ran after him, "hey! Wait!"

By the time you cut the corner he was already gone.

You ran a little more checking alleyways but there was nothing.

Erik was in big trouble.

You paced the lobby, frustratingly ran your hair. You were hesitant to go back into the room where Erik would be.

You used the room key and quietly unlocked the door. You peeked around and noticed the room is empty.

Erik must've went looking for you. Or maybe he's at the "store" again.

You slipped in and grabbed your bag and quickly packed it before slipping back out of the room.

You headed for the elevator when you heard Erik informing the police about you being missing.

You ran towards the stairs before the elevator door could fully open.

You made your way down the staircase and you heard the door at the very top open followed by fast foot steps.

You looked up the staircase and saw Erik running down. His eyes connected with yours before you continued to run.

You exited the staircase and ran for the back entrance you noticed yesterday.

You slipped out into the alley and climbed over a fence. You ran into the nearest store and made a beeline for the bathroom.

It took you a minute to catch your breath as you were bent over in the bathroom.

Either Erik didn't know your dad was alive or he did. By the looks of it he knew your dad wasn't dead and yet he told you he was.

The door opened and you quickly stood on the seat.

"As you can see sir, there is no one in here." A lady said,

"Right. Thank you."Erik said and left.

You quietly exhaled and climbed down from the seat.

"He's gone miss Kennedy." The lady came back and said and you stepped out of the stall.

You gave her a soft smile,"thank you so much, do you have a back entrance?"

She nodded and led you to the door, as you thanked her again.

Cool air whipped past you as you exited to shop.

The wig and clothes the lady disguised you with made it hard for anyone to detect you.

You walked over to the nearest pay phone inserted the coin and dialed Charles' number.

"Hello, Charles Xavier speaking."

"Charles!"

"Atarah. Thank god you're alright. Erik called me a while ago saying you left and he couldn't find you."

"My dad. He's alive."

"Kennedy?"

"No. My birth father. Erik told me he was dead. He's not. I just saw him and now I can't find him. I'm going to look for him. I just wanted to tell you. Please don't tell Erik. I don't trust him, if he tells you to use cerebro to find me. Don't, please don't. I'll call you in a few days. If I don't then you can try to find me. But please don't tell Erik."

The line was silent.

"Please be careful." He finally said.

"I will. Goodbye Charles."

You hung up and looked around for any sign of Erik. Once the coast was clear you began walking.

There was a hotel on the corner where you first saw your dad.

You walked in an got a room.

You opened the blinds to reveal a view of the street. Just like requested.

You pulled up a chair as your started out of the window for hours.

You woke up to the ring of a phone.

"Hello?"
"Yes hello Ms. Kennedy. There are police looking for you. They're with another man. They're on their way up to your room-"

You immediately hung up and opened the window to climb out.

Luckily there was a tree sturdy enough for you to climb down.

"Atarah. Open the door I know you're in there." Erik said with a hint of frustration and worry in his voice.

You climbed down the tree and heard the door burst open.

"Out the window!" One of the men shouted.

Erik looked down at you from the window.

"Atarah! Stop!" He shouted just as you reached the ground.

You took off running in the opposite direction before reaching another bar.

You walked inside and drank your beer at the counter.

"I'll have another." A voice said coming up beside you and he placed his empty mug on the bar.

He sat in the empty stool and you looked at him.
"I think it's time we talked." Your father said.
