You've never seen Erik use his powers before.
He's never controlled metal around you.

You remember he told you some people only use their power for evil.

Was he one of those people?

Was he warning you about himself?

You laid in the hospital bed thinking about what Erik had done.

Sure Zara was a terrible person but he went overboard. And he made you watch.

You tried to shake away the thoughts as much as you could.

You looked beside you to see a sleeping Alex in the chair.

Taking a deep breath you began to sit up.

You gasped in pain and Alex was by your side in a second.

"Atarah. Are you okay? What's wrong?" He concerningly asked.

"It's nothing." You tried to wave him away. "I think the pain killers are wearing off."

He nodded," I'll go see if you can get some more. Where are you going?"

You became flustered," I um, need to potty."

He gave a light laugh before placing your arm around his shoulder and wrapping his arm around your waist.

He half lifted you up and led you to the bathroom.

"I'll be back in a second I'm going to go let the nurse know that you're awake and need more medicine." Alex said looking pained about your current state of health.

Using the bathroom took longer than expected everything was in pain.

When you opened the door Alex and the others were in the room along with a nurse.

"Hello Ms. Kennedy. My name is Patricia and I'll be your nurse. Let me help you into bed." She said in a soft voice and she help you get into the bed. "I heard you've been feeling some pain." She pulled out a stethoscope and examined your breathing.

"Yeah my stomach hurts the most but I feel sore and in a bit of pain all over."

"Well Ms. Kennedy, when you were mugged the man roughed you up a bit before stabbing you but I'll get you some pain killers. I'll be back in a bit." She left to room and you turned to Charles.

"Mugged?" You asked.

"Well we couldn't tell them the truth." He admitted.
You sighed and nodded.

"We're all so glad you're alright. We were so worried." Raven said giving you a soft hug.

"You've been in a coma for almost a week. The knife punctured your kidney they had to operate." Hank added.

"We're just really glad you're awake." Alex said. He looked sleep deprived and stressed.

You swallowed. "And Erik?"

Alex shook his head.

"I haven't seen Erik since that day." Charles informed. "I'm sorry Atarah. I don't know where he is. I've tried Cerebro but I can't find him. He must not want to be found. But don't worry about him. Just focus on getting better." He moved closer towards you and placed his hand over yours," your father would be proud of you." He smiled. And turned away.

"Alex is going to stay here while we clean up the warehouse. It's still a bit of a mess and we don't want anyone to stumble upon it."

You gave a weak smile and a nod as they left.

Alex stood and started pacing angrily," what an asshole." He said under his breath. "A week! You've been in here for a week! And what? Erik can't find the time to see you? What? He's too busy for you?"
