"Weren't you freaking out when he tweeted and DM'd you?!" Chloe shouted.

I shrugged before replying "not really. I mean, a few months ago I would've. But I'm basically in the same position as him now. I mean, I'll always love him because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be where I am right now. But I'm also not gonna freak out when he 'notices' me or I see him" I chuckled slightly.

She nodded her head in agreement. "That's true."

The Show of the Summer concert is in two days, and I need to find an outfit. That's why Chloe's here to help.

"This outfit is cute" she said as she held up a black skirt and white crop top.

I looked at it for a few seconds, before shaking my head no.

She continued her search, as did I.

"OH MY GOD THIS ONE IS PERFECT!"

I looked at the dress she was holding up, and I instantly knew that it was the one.

"It's beautiful!" I grabbed it and admired all of its features. It was a short red dress that was tight around the chest and stomach, and the rest was flowy.

"You're gonna look hella good on that stage." Chloe winked, making me laugh.

2 days later

Today's the day. I get to meet a whole bunch of fans and perform on a huge stage at a huge amusement park. It's gonna be a blast.

I walked backstage of the stadium, and saw Scooter, Chloe, Noah, My uncle Jessie, my mom, Ethan and Grayson all having a conversation.

I walked over to them.

"Are you pumped?" Jessie asked.

I nodded my head rapidly in response, and looked around at all the different performers. There's so many people.

"You're on in 10 minutes!" A stage manager told me. I thanked him, and began walking towards the stage.

I did some vocal exercises and got all warmed up.

"Please welcome to the stage, Brinley Sanders!" I heard the announcer say over the loud speaker.

I heard the fans start screaming as I walked onto the stage.

"Hello Pennsylvania!" I yelled into the microphone, causing the crowd to get even louder.

"So I'm going to be singing Cool For The Summer by Demi Lovato. Sing along if you know it!"

"Tell me what you want, what you like, It's okay. I'm a little curious too.
Tell me if it's wrong, if it's right, I don't care, I can keep a secret, could you? Got my mind on your body and your body on my mind. Got a taste for the cherry, I just need to take a bite. Don't tell your mother. Kiss one another. Die for each other. We're cool for the summer. Take me down into your paradise, don't be scared 'cause I'm your body type. Just something that we wanna try, 'cause you and I, we're cool for the summer."

When I finished the song, the crowd went wild. 

"Thank you all for helping me get to where I am today, and supporting me every step of the way! I love you all, enjoy the rest of your night!"

I ran off stage and was greeted by my three best friends. The twins and Chloe. We formed a group hug.

"You just keep getting better and better" Grayson winked at me.

They all complimented my performance, and I thanked them about a million times. Their support has helped A LOT.

I heard the announcer say "Please welcome to the stage, Shawn Mendes."

It made me feel warm inside. I remember when I was in the crowd listening to him sing, when I screamed his name, when I was a fangirl.

Chloe must've been thinking the same thing, because we shot each other a smile.

"The good ol' days" she mouthed to me, and I nodded my head in return.

I stood by myself backstage, as I was on the phone with my mom.

"I'm sorry I have to leave so early" her  voice appeared through the speaker.

"I understand mom, your appointment with your therapist is more important."

"I promise I'll try and come to more shows" she reassured me.

It made me happy that she wants to be there as much as possible.

"I love you Mom."

"I love you more. I'll talk to you later."

I hung up and slid my phone into my back pocket.

I turned around to see Shawn walking towards me slowly. He looked nervous.

"Hey Shawn!" I greeted, and opened my arms for him. He happily walked into them.

"Hey Brinley!" He smiled, before motioning for me to follow him.

We walked for a few minutes before we ended up in a lounge room with a couple couches, and no other people.

"Hey wanna know something funny?" I asked, already laughing slightly.

He nodded and waited for me to begin.

"I used to be SUCH an intense fangirl over you. I listened to your music nonstop, and I even met you about half a year ago at a meet and greet." I chuckled.

"I know" he gave me serious look, but still had a tiny smile on his face. "That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about."
