Fifteen

I'm almost ready for Shawn and I's first show. I can't describe how excited I am.

All of my dreams are becoming reality. I've always wanted to tour, but more importantly, just make something of myself. I have been waiting so long for this moment.

Noah and Chloe promised to come to my first show, so I decided I'd go visit them backstage.

I saw Noah instantly, and ran and jumped on his back.

He erupted into laughter, before I jumped off and hugged him.

"How's it going?" He asked with a smile.

"Really good! The rehearsals went perfectly so I'm hoping the show will too."

"You're gonna do amazing" he said, and I thanked him.

I turned around and saw Chloe talking to Maggie.

I walked over and joined them.

"Hi girls!" I smiled at both of them, and Chloe tackled me with a hug.

"There's my little celebrity" she pretended to nudge me. I laughed and hugged her back.

When Maggie walked away, Chloe told me that she found her pretty cool. I nodded in agreement.

"Brinley, show time in ten minutes" one of the stage managers announced.

I quickly said goodbye to my brother and Chloe, before making my way to the room beside the stage.

When I finally got there; I saw Shawn with a worried look on his face.

"Shawn.." I said, causing him to jump.

"I can tell you're nervous, but you're gonna do absolutely amazing!" I stepped towards him and hugged him.

"Thank you Brin, you will too. Believe me, your voice can do wonders. I'm just scared I'll mess up and disappoint the fans."

I placed my hand on his shoulder, before saying "why would they be disappointed in you for messing up? Remember that they are on this journey with you. It's all new to them as well. If you mess up, they'll remember that this is only your first show and your first world tour. Damn, Justin Bieber falls on stage every other show!"

Shawn's adorable smile lit up the room, as he released tiny chuckles.

"You always know how to make me feel better." I felt him wrap his arms around my back. After a few seconds, I also heard him whisper "thank you" into my ear.

"Anything for you." I replied.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome on to the stage for the first time EVER on an international tour, SHAWN MENDES AND BRINLEY SANDERS!"

"Let's do this" Shawn said as he grabbed my hand and began running into the spotlight.

"DALLAS! ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!" Shawn announced into the microphone.

"Wow, this crowd is amazing" I said to Shawn, causing the crowd to roar louder.

After finishing our intro, Shawn signaled for me to introduce the first song.

"To start off the night, Shawn and I will be singing 'I Know What You Did Last Summer."

Once again, the crowd went crazy.

Shawn gave me the 'anytime you're ready' look, so I took a deep breath, and began the song.

"He knows, dirty secrets that I keep, does he know it's killing me?
