Our little vacation ended today, and now we're in Detroit for our next show.

Shawn and I sat on the couch in the tour bus talking about our setlist and deciding if there were any changes we wanted to make.

"Brinley" I heard Scooter's voice appear. He is joining us for the rest of the tour so that Shawn and I both have our managers.

"What's up?" I replied, watching him sit down on the chair in front of us.

"We have to do a vocals practice." he said as he shoved his phone into his pocket.

I was confused since I haven't done a vocals practice in months. I used to do them before every show but we kinda just stopped.

"Why? I haven't done one in forever-"

He interrupted me. "Exactly, we need your vocals to keep improving."

Before I could say anything, Shawn jumped in. "I don't think it's possible for her vocals to get any better. I mean, have you heard her sing? She's already the most talented person I know."

I shot him a smile and he shot one back. I felt his hand wrap around mine.

"You're a nice kid Shawn but let's be real. Brin, your vocals haven't been as good recently. You're still amazing but you could be better."

I nodded in agreement, but saw Shawn give him a small glare.

"Let's hear you sing buddy" Shawn sassed Scooter. My mouth dropped as I looked over to him.

"Babe stop" I said quietly and he rolled his eyes. I rubbed his back and tried to make him relax. I don't need them getting into a full blown fight.

Scooter tapped his foot impatiently. "Can we get on with this? Just sing one song of your choice."

I nodded and took a deep breath.

"Oh, you waited so long. Sometimes it's hard to stand out. And you don't have to do anything else but be yourself. Ooh, woah, oh."

I saw Shawn smiling at my choice of song. I purposely picked the one he wrote for me.

I continued singing. "You, you dressed up so nice. But all I could see was your eyes. And the crowd came and pulled you away, and then you were gone. Ooh, woah, yeaah. And I don't even know your name, all I remember is that smile on your face. And it'll kill me everyday, cause I don't even know your name."

When I finished the song, Shawn pushed his lips into mine and whispered "you're so fucking talented."

I thanked him before turning to Scooter to see his opinion.

"Well done Brin. You should be doing your own vocal practices every once in a while, but your voice is great." He stood up off the chair with a smile.

"Thanks Scooter" I smiled back.

"I'm sorry by the way.. I felt the need to defend her, but I know you just want what's best." Shawn stood up and stuck out his hand. "still friends?"

Scooter gladly grabbed onto his hand. "still friends." They gave each other a bro hug, and then Scooter walked into his bunk.

"You're so sweet." I grinned, holding his hand again.

"Says you, baby." he pushed me over on the couch and hovered over top of me.

I felt his lips attach to my lips, and then to my neck. I let out a soft moan, but immediately heard the sound of the tour bus door opening.

"Woah, are we interrupting something?" I heard Ethan's voice from a few feet away.

I looked over and saw him and Grayson trying not to laugh, and getting ready to walk out.
