"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about." Shawn said in a slow, mumbled voice.

"What do you mean?" I asked, completely confused.

He didn't say anything for about 15 seconds. I could tell he was deciding how to say it.

"Brinley.. I remember you from the meet and greet. You sang to me and the other fans.. You told me that I inspired you to become a singer, and I wanted to keep talking to you but the security guard took you away. I couldn't exactly chase you, but I thought it would be easy to track you down. Boy was I wrong. I couldn't find you until you tweeted me.

I didn't know what to say. He wanted to hangout with me? He has been trying to find me for seven months? I am so taken back by all of this.

"Wow.. Why did you want to find me so badly?" I asked, realizing I sounded kinda rude.

"This sounds stupid but.. When I saw you at the meet and greet, I instantly thought you were the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I mean, I think all of my fans are beautiful, but you really stood out. Then when you told me how much I've impacted your life, it made me feel happier than I had been in a long time. That was around a time when I started feeling a little useless to the world. You helped raise my self-esteem. And then when you started singing, Brinley I swear to god it was heavens soundtrack. I added all of those things up, and I've never met someone so perfect. And the thing I REALLY needed to tell you was.. the song 'I Don't Even Know Your Name' on my album was dedicated to you.."

I sat there frozen, staring into his eyes. I didn't know what to say. There weren't any words. All of those lyrics were dedicated to me.

I don't even know your name. All I remember is that smile on your face. And it will kill me everyday, 'cause I don't even know your name.

It all makes sense.

"W-Wow. Shawn, I can't believe this. I was just a regular fan, and you actually thought of me as more than that.." I looked down at my hands, not knowing what else to say.

After a few seconds, I felt his finger push my chin up to look in his eyes.

"God brought me and you together today for a reason." He whispered. "It would be an honour if you'd let me get to know you better."

I smiled harder than I ever have, and stood up to give him a hug. I felt him rest his head on mine, as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"It would be my honour." I replied, looking directly into his eyes.

"I'm so glad I found you."
