Seventeen

The whole crew is sitting on the tour bus, while we take a break from driving for a bit. We're on our way to Phoenix, but decided to park the bus for a couple hours.

Shawn and the twins are playing video games, while Maggie, Andrew, Mannie and I sat on the couches and talked.

"Brinley, your vocals have been improving so much recently. You're definitely the queen of the tour." Andrew smiled at me.

"Thank you so much! I have to admit, It's pretty hard to sing alongside someone who is as talented as Shawn."

I saw Shawn turn away from the tv and glare at me. "Shut up" he said jokingly, and I laughed.

"It's true, you're literally an angel and I guarantee that most of the fans are there for you."

He shook his head in denial.

"Like I said, you're the queen of the tour Brinley, and Shawn is the king. You're both amazing at what you do." Andrew repeated. I thanked him once again.

I saw Maggie in the corner of my eye, and she looked a little left out.

"And we can't forget about Maggie's vocals, holy crap!" I announced, and Maggie looked up at me and smiled.

"Thank you Brinley." She said shyly and I nodded.

After a few minutes, the boys' game ended and Ethan got frustrated since he lost whatever it is that they were playing.

"Rematch?" Shawn asked and Grayson nodded his head excitedly.

"I'm out guys" Ethan laughed and stood up. "I'm too good for that game."

Gray and Shawn rolled their eyes with a smile.

Ethan walked towards the door of the bus, and announced "I'm going for a walk. Anybody wanna join?"

I instantly volunteered, as I needed some fresh air.

Before walking out of the door, I bent down beside Shawn, who was sitting in a bean bag chair on the floor, and kissed his cheek.

"We'll be back soon." I whispered into his ear

"Ok, love you." he smiled up at me.

"Love you too."

Ethan and I walked down the stairs of the bus and started walking away from it.

We noticed a small forest on the far side of the parking lot, which had a trail in it.

"Wanna go for a hike?" Ethan asked and I nodded.

We began walking down the long trail, as the sun began setting.

We walked for about ten minutes, before Ethan suddenly stopped in front of me.

"We need to talk." He said bluntly.

I gave him a confused look, but said "okay" anyways.

"It's about Maggie.." He began, and I already heard enough.

I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"No seriously, it's important." He walked a bit closer towards me.

I nodded, signalling that he could tell me.

"I hate to say this because I don't want to hurt you, but I think she has a thing for Shawn."

I let out an obnoxious laugh, and shook my head in disbelief.

"Brinley I'm serious. She's always following him around and being really touchy with him."

He looked serious, but I still didn't believe him.
