Chapter 16

"I like being stuck with you" he smiled


"So what's the plan for today?" I asked I cannot stay inside this house any longer.


"I don't know really, I was thinking about going t to the field" that field is where our magical first kiss happened. I could day dream about that all day the way his plump lips were timid,at the touch of mine. The way his green eyes glowed at dusk,before turning a light brown. The way he studied me and placed the beanie on my head. Just thinking about it all makes me feel warm and fuzzy. "Emma, What's that smirk on your face for?"


"Oh nothing" I blushed


"C'mon let's go" he grabbed my hand and we walked out of the house.


Austin signaled for me to jump on his back and I didn't waste time. My fave was smooshed to his back, I wonder why he likes carrying me so much. Going to the field in daylight will be different, the sunflowers were already growing and the sun was shining bright today.


Once we reached the field I studied Austin's features his green orbs glowed brightly today, he seemed more relax and serene . I'm lucky to have him, I wonder if he liked me a lot before our relationship...... maybe he did. Austin looked over too me as I stared off in the other direction this silly silence is killing me.


"Austin?" I questioned


"Yeah" his tone was almost, sleepy like


"Did you like me before all of "this" happened?"


"Yeah I did, like a lot, I'm surprised Sebastian didn't sell me out"


"Oh really?"


"I wouldn't lie to you"


"I don't know that" my phone buzzed as it laid in the grass. Before I could grab it Austin launched for my phone. His face wasn't happy when he read the text that appeared.


"Why is Anthony texting you?"


"I don't know" I answered honestly


"Mm"


"Mm What?"


"You know I don't like him" he huffed


"Yeah, but it's not like I'm gonna be around him every second." I sat in front of him so I could see his eyes."Anyways, can I ask you something else?"


"Shoot"


" When did you start liking me?" I asked, I really want to know.


"When you first moved here, that same snowy day when you ignored me is when I took interest in you. But by the middle of freshmen year is when I actually started falling for you, quite a while ago." He smiled earning one from me. "Emma, about this taking it slow thing I'm trying my hardest. You know that right?"


"I couldn't even tell?" I laughed, I moved myself in between his legs. He wrapped his strong arms around me, I love when he does that.


"I swear Emma you need to stop wearing shorts." he bit my ear


"But I like wearing them" I whined


"Yeah but that ass you have there, yep hmm it's mine" he kissed my cheek biting it playfully.
