"I can't wait to see your parents!" I exclaimed clapping my hands.

"You mean my mother?" he chuckled, gripping the wheel tighter.

"You seem like your bothered by something..." I place my hand on his knee , and create tiny circles with my index finger.

"Well, I'm not to happy to see my dad."

"Why?"

"He wants us- me and my mom to be apart of that dream family. A family were nothing goes wrong, a family that kisses the fathers ass, and ever since I've told them the truth I can tell he's been distant from me, like he doesn't see any good in me."

"Austin it's okay, just be happy that they aren't staying here forever."

"Yeah, a week is enough to seem like forever"

"Look, let's just have a good time alright?"

"Fine. Are you sure you're okay with having them stay at your house for a week?"

"Austin, I can handle this."

"I'll stay there too-"

",No seriously I got it!" I laugh.

"So I can't stay then?"

"If you want, but there's only the living room left."

"I could stay in yours"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because my parents are stupid" I chuckle

"Then can I lay on the floor in your room?"

"Knock yourself out." I say taking my hand off his knee, as we arrive at the airport.

Austin's parents didn't feel like driving this time around so, we decided to come pick them up. We pulled up at the terminal and looked for his parents through the tinted windows. I caught a glimpse of his mother and launched out of the car.

I wrapped my arms around her and I could tell she didn't know it was me for a second. I pulled back and held her hands giving her a big smile.

"Emma!" she exclaimed. " Oh how've matured!" she squealed. I laughed leaning in to hug her again, Austin's father stood there next to us. He awkwardly shifted and I pulled away from Michelle.

"Hello, Mr. Mahone" I smiled holding my hand out for him to take. Slowly he grabbed my hand and shook lightly. I felt Austin's arm snake around my waist and I suddenly felt even more awkward.

"Austin!" his mother shrieked, pulling Austin into her arms. "I've missed you so so so so so so so much." She rambled kissing his face all over.

He pulled away, and looked at his father who kept a straight face. No hint of a smile. "Hey dad" Austin's hands found his pockets, his eyes to the concrete of the terminal.

"Hello son" Austin pulled his hands out of his pockets expecting a hug only to see a suitcase in his right arm, his father passing him.

I had realized I'd been standing looking like an idiot when I fell a breeze enter my mouth. That was so cold.

Soon we found our way back to car and waited for his parent to load the trunk. The ride back to my house was all too quiet, everything was all so tense.

The wedding was in two days, and I don't want another excuse for not coming. Austin's grip on the wheel was tight as hell. I could tell he was angry, he was awfully bad at hiding his emotions. Although there was nothing said in the car you could feel the hate radiating off the entire family.

Austin's mother was clearly mad at his father, His fathered at Austin, and the one and only Austin Mahone angry with his father.

I've never felt so out of place before and right now I just want to go home and sleep.

When we finally reached the house the Mahone's found their guest room and I somehow persuaded my father into letting Austin stay in mine. Austin tried his best to keep positive even though he couldn't stand the presence of his father in the house. At dinner only the adults spoke, like the last time they ate here.

"You okay?" I ask Austin trying to spark a conversation.

He sighed before leaving the table and heading up to my room. I didn't chase after him, like I usually would-but soon my curiosity got the best of me.

After I finished eating, I headed up the stairs and found Austin buried into my bed. I closed the door behind me, and leaned on it.

"Austin..." I pressed.

"I'm sorry, it's just hard having him here."

"It's okay..."

"No it's not! It never will be! The only thing my dad wants is for me to break-up with you and go back to Alabama, and be apart of his dumb ass dream team." He yelled. I turned my head but nothing escaped my lips.

He's right. It's not okay. I don't know what to say anymore.

Suddenly his strong arms found me, and pulled me into the center of my room. I hugged him back knowing we could both use some comfort at times like this.

"I love you." He whispered.

I buried my face into his chest and held him a little tighter.

"You mean the world to me, Austin. If your Fathers opinion affects you this much then-"

"I will not move back."

"But-"

"I care about you too damn much to let his opinions completely affect me."

I kept quiet. I'm always speechless when it comes to him. He removed a hand from my waist, and used it to push my hair out of my face. He then cupped my cheek to kiss me.

It was soft and quick.
