Chapter 40

"Well I have a boyfriend". Well duh

"I'm aware" he turned he now looked forward

"But... I'm fine with being friends"

"Me too" he smiled , earning a small chuckle from me.

"What are you two talking about back there?" Katie finally spoke.

"You would hear if you weren't so infatuated with my cousin..." Grey snickered.

After walking through the mall Katie finally dropped me off, back at my house.

All I know is that Grey just might be a possible problem, he's way to hot and Austin wouldn't approve of that. It shouldn't matter anyways I can be friends with whoever I want.

I've texted Austin the whole day, literally.

I haven't seen him face to face in a while... I wonder what he's doing now he hasn't texted me back.

I dial his number...

"Hello......." I call out

"Hey, Babe" my heart flutters every time that word comes out his mouth.

"Hey, How was your day"

"Lonely without you, but I did invite Alex and Zach over so you should come too"

"Okay, let me go take a shower

"Alright see you in a l'il"

I do exactly as I say and proceed into the shower. I like warm water when I'm relaxed but I'm on edge at the moment therefore I'm going to use hot water so I can think.

I know for sure he has something to tell me, but why is it so hard for him to say it. I just hope whatever it is, won't effect our relationship too greatly. I mean I just got him back, two weeks ago and he means the world to me.

Of course I'd be stressing out on a Monday, I'm not even I'm school.

This is the number one reason why I don't do relationships but it's too much to worry about. But the feeling if being loved inspires me to keep going on with this. Actually, Austin inspires me too keep going on, because he loves me and I love him back.

Once I'm out of the bathroom, I walk in my bedroom that seems freezing cold. I dress myself quickly, before putting my hair in a bun. I finally knock on Austin's door and wait for him to open it.

He greets me with a hug before leading me into the living room.

"Well Hello Emma" Zach he called

It must be the short I'm wearing...

"Don't you have Cecilia?" I laughed

"Do we all know that I don't like her!"

"Yes" Alex,Austin and I spoke in unison.

"Okay, wait tell me what's going on between you two then" I asked, I am really curious to know if history really did repeat.

"Well it was the Thursday before your birthday party, I was at the mall with Grey and Cecilia just had to be at the mall...." he sounded disgusted "Being the nice guy I am I let her hang out with us, and then she kissed me, from then on she thinks we're dating" he pushed his hair back.

"Sounds too damn familiar" Austin sighed, realizing history did repeat.

"I don't understand her" Alex added

"Me too" Austin and I spoke at the same time.

Since there guys, and best friends. I'm left out once again, I'm just sitting here watching the tv while they talk about stupid shit.

It's now one in the morning and it seems that Alex and Zach are staying the night. I walk to the kitchen to grab a soda from the fridge.

"Austin..." Alex cooed

"Yeah"

"You coming to the party on Friday? It's just for you ya know?"

"Yeah"

"Did you tell Emma yet" Zach asks.

Wait, ask me what? About a party? I'm really confused.

I walk back into the living room and they immediately start talking about something else. I trudge up the stairs and head into Austin's room.

Of course I end up calling Katie.

"Hey, Emma" She answers instantly

"Wow you picked up fast, wait don't tell me your actually alone?" I smile

"I am" I laugh.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah"

"Are you aware of a party at Alex's house on Friday?"

"Yeah... why?"

"Because, I feel like what Austin's hiding from me has to do with that party..."

"Well Sebastian told me that there was a party at Alex's house"

"Thanks, but at this point I'm just bored..."

"What are you doing?"

"I'm at Austin's house Alex and Zach are here"

"Well why the hell are you talking to me...."

"Because, I'm pretty sure there talking about there dicks right now."

"Oh" she laughed

"I gotta go, call me tomorrow if you want to do something."

"K, Bye"

Talking to lately hasn't been as fun as it was before. She's changed a lot but I mean this new Katie isn't bad.

I finally move off the wooden floor, and get on the bed, I will confront Austin about this tomorrow... These sheets smell like him, like apples and cinnamon.

"Goodnight, You guys" I hear Austin heading up the stairs, the wood creeks under his large feet.

"Emmaaaaa" he groans. He jumped onto the bed and laid on top of me.

I actually don't mind him smothering me...

"Yeah" I strain

"I love you, you know that?"

"Yes I do" I squirm under him.

He finally rolled off of me, and moved on his side so he could watch me. He chuckled at his thoughts, I assume.

"What is it...?"

"I had dream that, well I don't know if I should tell you..."

"Does it have to do with sex?"

"Yessss" he laughed

He's so adorable...

I now move on top of him, straddling his waist.

"Was I on top of you like this?" I tease, his cheeks light up in a bright pink, as he now breathes heavily.

"Mmhhmm"

"Were your hands here?" I speak slowly and move his hands on my thighs. He stifled his moan, keeping his eyes and mouth closes. I lean into kiss him passionately. Keeping my hands on his.

"Did I kiss you like that?" He bit his lower lip, before nodding his head in satisfaction.

I get off of him and back under the covers... with big grin on my face. I almost had to hold in my laughter... the look on his face was priceless.

"Are you serious?" His raspy voice, spoke obviously frustrated by my recent teasing.

"I'll get you back...." He added.
