Chapter 23

Austin gestured for me to come sit near him and I obliged. Tonight has been confusingly, romantic. Somewhere deep down inside of me says that Austin only said those things to just say them. I mean, I know he cares about me but it was all to just shut me up. And it did which I shouldn't have let him. I feel pathetic really taking him back so easily, but I mean c'mon he's perfect.

"Emma? What are you thinking about?" He asked while fiddling with my hair between his fingers. My head was on his lap and I was looking at ceiling thinking of everything that happened.

"Well, All those things you said you didn't say them just to say them right?"

"I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it..." He gazed into my eyes

"Yeah but I've heard it all before Austin"

"I'm not before Emma, I'm now and I always will be" he kissed my forehead. See this is the kind've shit that makes me fall for him more and more. "My turn now...."


"Okay" I smiled

"If you ever left me, which I hope you wouldn't. Would you go to Anthony?" The softness in his tone scares me, it's like he's really in love with me already. Which I don't mind but of course I wouldn't leave Austin for Anthony. That's like lowering my standards even if Anthony is hot.

"No... No don't ever think that, he's annoying and doesn't give me the same feelings you do." The puzzled look on his face tells me what he's gonna ask next.

"So he's in love with you why wouldn't you go to him?"

"Because I care about you" I simply stated.

"Oh" he barely spoke.

"What's wrong?" I sat up

"Nothing, it's just I feel as if he tore us apart a bit. He made me look bad... in front of you and I don't want you to see that side of me." Gosh he's so adorable....

"Kiss me" I whispered into his ear.

He placed a soft kiss on my cheek. What the hell?! This isn't like him.

"If you want to have fun you have too chase meeeee" he sprinted from the couch. "Okay let's play hide'n'seek if you find me then you get an award, close your eyes and count to sixty" Great.

I laid back on the couch and closed my eyes, while I proceeded to count I can already hear him climbing up the stairs. This will be easy I already know where he's going.

Of course I'm not gonna do anything crazy it's only been two weeks but man have I missed him. The fact that he wants to stay with me is... great really.

"HERE I COME!" I should mess with him and go to the kitchen I'm thirsty. I walked to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of fruit punch. Drinking this reminds me of the mixed drink I had.... that night was crazy. We were close to having sex.... that is before he just stopped kissing me when he found out I was drunk. That was the right thing to do

I walked up the stairs slowly hoping that I was teasing him. Calling out to find where he could be.. taunting I was but I want to make him wait. I walked slowly to his room the floors creaked and I opened his bedroom door. Okay he's not in sight so he must be in the closet.

I walked very slowly to the closet and even more slowly opened it carefully I didn't find him in here but I heard footsteps coming to the door.

Austin walked in shirtless wearing only sweatpants..... okay just take me to heaven now!

"Oh no you found me!" He jokes

"Yeah I did" I was breathless

"Are you okay?" I nodded staring at his chiseled body oh my lord he has back dimples and he's tan! Okay I'm gonna pass out.... "Oh! Is it me?" he took a step closer I took one back until I reached the closet door. "Do I turn you on?" he smirked, and have a small giggle.

"Oh my gosh" I spoke quietly to myself

With that he pressed his lips to mine both hands on the closet door, mine were around his waist. Suddenly his body shifted he cupped my cheek as hissed me passionately, his hips now grinder into mine slowly. A moan escaped my mouth... shit I already know where this is going. I pulled away keeping my eyes on his, he stared Into mine intently.

"Why'd you stop?" He pouted

"Because we all know where that was gonna end up" I laughed

"What's wrong with going there?" He smirked

"Pervert...." I chuckled I sat on his bed and laid my head down on his soft blue pillow. Before I knew it I was already sleeping soundly.
