Jai POV
I was sitting in a chair next to Adela and Derek had went home to go see his wife and kid.
I was holding her hand and I had my head resting now against the wall.
I was just thinking about the future and what was going to happen.

All of a sudden she squeezes my hand.

I sit up and walk towards her.
"Adela, Del are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine Jai." She sighs.

"Omg you really had me worried I thought you were gonna die on me."

"Jai I have other things killing me. It wouldn't make a difference if I was gonna die because I'm dying anyways."

"Wait, Adela you know you have c-"

"Cancer. Yes I know. I found out the day before you were released."

"Babe how come you didn't tell me?"

"I didn't know how to. I was eventually."

" Babe he said you have 3 months and the list takes a fucking year."

"Yeah babe I know. They told me the same thing back home. I'm just worried."

"Worried about what?"

"Promise me you'll take care of our son when I'm gone?" She cried.

"Adela your not gonna die."

"Jai sooner or later I have to face reality. The truth is I am going to DIE. And I just have to make sure you and my son are going to be okay."

"I promise were gonna be fine."

"So I guess when I'm released we could head back home."

"No were staying here."

"What do you mean?"

"My brothers are here my mom is here close friends are here. Our family is here. We're made to stay here and enjoy every single moment."

"Okay makes sense. I don't have family back home but where would we stay at?"

"Derek's house he told me it was okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure."

"I miss my baby boy."

"Is he okay? Is he eating good? What about nap time and story time?"

"Babe he's perfectly fine." I laugh.

"Okay I just miss him. I want to see him already when do I leave."

"The Doctor told me untill you fully recover from the injuries."

"Okay."
