S2 Chapter 1. Flame

Here we go again...

3 months after the New World Incident...

Eric: ... are we gonna leave this place, never to come back again?

Tesla: I'm not sure, you can go but the crew and I will stay here first, someone needs to keep an eye on the land just in case anything like you know what happens again...

Eric: nah you know what... I think I'll stay here

Tesla: that's entirely your choice, there really isn't anything to do here. I mean... If the New World project really did work, no one will remember any of us...

Eric: yeah I think I'll stay,
there really isn't much to do back home than eat and sleep... You know... Normal everyday stuff...

Tesla: you don't want a peaceful life?

Eric: it's not that, I just want my life to be more exciting, we've been in this place for a long time now and it has really grown on me... Besides I'll be visiting home occasionally anyways so there isn't much fuss...

Tesla:... I don't get you sometimes...

Eric: neither do I...

A few minutes after Tesla and Eric were conversing, there was a loud knock on the steel doors of the mobile hub.

Not knowing who it was, Eric and Tesla drew their weapons, Eric armed with his serrated knuckles, Tesla with her stun baton. They prepared to face whatever horrible creature was behind those doors. They opened the doors and in it's doorway stood an injured boy... It was Clyde, the young skeleton archer, clothes were tattered and he was covered in dripping blood, yet he seemed as if he didn't feel it.

Eric: what in the blocky world happened to you? You alright?!

Clyde: I'm alright...

Tesla: that isn't his blood Eric...

Eric: that doesn't explain his look though... You look like you killed a poor person for clothes.

Clyde: shut up man I got attacked by a bunch of wolf cubs, and before you say anything like I'm a coward or something, there was practically an army of them.

Eric: I never got to ask why you hated them so much

Clyde: they're all evil! They act nice to you and when you're asleep they plot to rip out your throats, chew on your bones and dance on top of your cold corpses

Eric: what the heck? Who told you that?!

Clyde: Herobrine did

Tesla: Why am I not surprised?

Clyde: hey don't blame me, the guy is hardly wrong

Eric: wolf cubs don't plot

Clyde: just shut up man

Eric: just saying haha. Anyways did you find what you were looking for?

Clyde: yes...

(Clyde pulls out a a pouch, within it a fiery ruby resided, it seemed to give off an intense, nearly scorching heat,  as if it was actually a flame itself.)

Clyde: what does this actually do?

(Tesla swiftly takes  the ruby from Clyde)

Tesla: this is a Gemstone 003, more commonly known as the Fury Rouge, Pyros draw power from similar gemstones but this right here, is the most primal one out of all of them. The Fury Rouge contains a crimson red flame that is theoretically capable of burning brighter or hotter than the sun itself, but no one has been able to use this long enough to test its highest capabilities, those who failed to control this power during use have been  said to violently combust with a glowing black flame, presumably the energy from the Fury Rouge consuming the user.
