18 To Exist

He finishes planting the last patch of carrots, then he looks up. It's still pretty early, the suns just now in the middle of the sky. It would probably be ok if he just went down to the riverside, just to the small cave he saw two days ago.

So off he went, gathering an apple and a iron pickaxe. He traveled to the cave and mined for a few hours. The sun was going down now, which meant he should probably go on back to his home. He stopped at the entrance, seeing a shadow in front of it.
"Herobrine?"
He asked, taking one step closer. Red eyes suddenly appeared.
"Afraid not."
His heart stopped, and those blue eyes were wide with fear. The virus was back, and he was alone in the over-world. Steve backed away, shaking a bit. Entity was frowning, eyes fixed on the boy.
"Don't run, or else I'll have to chase you down and kill you right away."
Steve froze.
"Wh-what do you want..?"
Entity's raspy voice came out.
"You stabbed me."
Silence filled the air around them.
"I-I'm sorry. I couldn't let you kill Herobrine."
The virus laughs a bit.
"So that's his name. He was powerful, but he didn't seem like the creator."

"He is a god, and if you hurt me, he will destroy you."
Steve's eyes were daring, yet he was still shaking. Entity only chuckled a bit.
"Is that so? I have no intentions of hurting a weakling like you. I only wish to simply exist."
Steve's eyes were wide again.
He wants to exist.
That sounds like Herobrine.
This virus was like Herobrine in more ways than one.
He only wants to exist.
