The next day after I arrived here in the U.S, I decided to go visit the hospital where my mom was.

Jae texted me where to find mom's room so I could go there myself. I made Jae go out for a while and grab some snacks as well as coffee for himself.

I arrived at the hospital and went off to find where my mom was located.

I roamed around and after minutes I finally found her room.

I can't wait to go see her personally once again and before I did, I slowly peeked in through the glass window and there, I saw her.

My heart broke. She was closing her eyes, and her body got thinner and weaker. My mom also lost hair after therapy.

It didn't feel like she was the mom I used to know. The healthy mom I always had to nag at me for my Monsta X obsession.

I straightened up, opened the door, and went inside.

I walk slowly beside my mom's body as I grabbed a chair to sit beside her. I began to smile as I am finally reunited with her.

I missed mom so much.

"Eomma... I'm here.. I'm back. Please wake up now. I'll be waiting for you."

I smiled and caressed her carefully. Later on, I fell asleep beside her...

"Noona. I missed you." Jae was still hugging me tonight.

I had been staying in the hospital for a whole day.

"Me too." I hugged back.

"Noona, one time, mom's fingers actually moved. Sometimes they would move but the problem is, I wouldn't catch her waking up." He told me.

"Mwo? Jinjja? Maybe there is a chance she's still alive. Let's be patient..."

"N-noona? Noo- noona!" Jae pointed.

I looked at to where he was pointing and it was to mom.

Mom was slowly moving!

I got surprised and quite excited it was happening.

"Eomma? Eomma.. wake up. It's me So Eun. Im home please open your eyes." I tried to help her.

Slowly, she opened her eyes and saw me.

"S-S'-eun.." She barely spoke.

"Ne..." I held her hand.

"Yre....h-hre..." She tried to speak but I understood.

"I'm home eomma." I smiled.

"Jae." She said.

"Eomma thanks for waking up. I've been waiting for you day and night." He said and we both saw mom smile.

"Thanks f-for being h-here.." Mom said as tears fell.

"A-all I wanted w-was to see you b-both together.." She continued.

"Me too... Mom I love you." I said.

"That's enough for me... I'm really tired, my children... I love you too." She clearly said.

"Ne eomma.." I hugged her lightly.

"I-I, want to rest n-now.." She smiled as tears fell.

"M-mwo?" I asked again trying to attend to her.

She didn't answer me but she slowly closed her eyes back again.

Beep~

Suddenly the machine beeped and we saw a straight line.
