CHAPTER • 3

Mingyu woke up early in the morning and get ready for school. He ate his breakfast first before taking a shower. After finishing his morning routine, he then grabbed his things and went to school alone.

He was greeted by his friends when he entered the classroom. One of his friends, named Vernon Chwe went beside him and said, "Hey Mingyu. How's your weekend?"

"Uhh, it's good. Why'd you ask?"

"Nothing. Is it bad to ask?" Vernon chuckled. "By the way, have you heard that we have a new student?"

"Really? I haven't heard of it."

"Yes. I was hoping for a girl but they said it is a boy." Vernon sighed and pouted.

"Aww. That's okay!" Mingyu said and ruffled Vernon's hair.

The teacher then came inside the classroom with a boy wearing a mask following her from behind. The students went back to their seats quickly.

"Good morning class! We have a new student. He's going to introduce himself to us. Please be nice and friendly to him." The teacher said.

The new student removed his mask before introducing himself, "Good morning everyone! My name is Jeon Wonwoo and I am a former student in Kirin Arts School. Nice to meet you all!" He bowed.

"Oh, yeah. Wonwoo hyung is the new student." Mingyu said as he remembered what the librarian told him when the first time he met Wonwoo.

"You know him?" His seatmate, Kwon Soonyoung asked curiously.

"Yeah. I met him two days ago at the library. He's very nice! He also helped me doing my homework."

"Really? That's so nice."

"Okay, Mr. Jeon. You will sit beside-"

"Beside me, teacher!" Mingyu didn't let his teacher finish her words. All his classmates turned their heads to Mingyu and looked at him. Wonwoo looked at Mingyu with widened eyes. He didn't expect that guy studies here.

"Ya! This is my seat. How could you?!" Soonyoung pouted his lips.

"Do you know Kim Mingyu, Mr. Jeon?" Their homeroom teacher asked curiously.

"Uhh, honestly... We just met two days ago but it's okay if I'm going to be his seatmate." Wonwoo smiled.

"Okay then! Mr. Kwon, please transfer beside Lee Jihoon. Jeon Wonwoo will be Kim Mingyu's seatmate."

"Thanks, teacher." Wonwoo bowed before going to his seat.

"Hi Wonwoo! We meet again. It's very nice to see you here." Mingyu said happily as Wonwoo sat beside him.

"I didn't expect that you go to this school." Wonwoo said and chuckled.

"Mingyu yah! Why do you want to be Wonwoo's seatmate, huh? You said you just met him two days ago but it seems you're already close to him." Soonyoung said as he sat infront of Mingyu's seat.

"It's none of your business, so just shut your mouth. Anyway, call our other friends. I'm going to introduce him to all of you." Mingyu smiled.

"Okay." Soonyoung sighed then he called the others.

After a few moments, Mingyu's friends came.

"Here we are, hyung. What is it?" Chan asked curiously who just entered the classroom with the others.

"I'm just going to introduce you all to him."

"Oh... then I'll go first." Seungcheol said whose arm on Jeonghan's shoulder. "Hi Wonwoo! My name is Choi Seungcheol."

"I'm Yoon Jeonghan." Jeonghan smiled.

"Oh, you have a pretty face." Wonwoo said as he stared at Jeonghan whose hair is long and brown.

"Oh, thanks." Jeonghan smiled again.

"Hello. My name is Hong Jisoo, you can also call me Joshua."

"Hi! I'm Wen Junhui. Just call me Jun."

"Kwon Soonyoung here and I am a tiger." Soonyoung said as he did a tiger pose. His friends gave him a weird look. Some of them laugh.

"Stop that tiger thing, Soonyoung." Vernon said between his chuckles.

"Don't mind him. By the way, I'm Lee Jihoon."

"He's small but terrible." Seungcheol added and they all laughed. Jihoon glared at Seungcheol.

"Lee Seokmin is my name." He smiled, showing his shiny white teeth. "You can also call me Dokyeom."

"Hello. My name is Xu Minghao. Nice to meet you."

"Hi Wonwoo! I'm Chwe Hansol. Just call me Vernon."

"Hello. My name is Boo Seungkwan and I'm from Jeju." He said with a sassy tone. Wonwoo just chuckled at him.

"Hello hyung. I am Lee Chan and I hope we can really be good friends."

"Kim Mingyu, I don't know that you have a lot of friends." Wonwoo said with a tone of jealousy. He then looked down and thought, "I'm jealous of him. I want to have a lot of friends too..."

"Well, yeah..." Mingyu noticed Wonwoo looked down. "Oh! What's wrong, hyung?"

"Uh-oh. Nothing. I'm just happy that you have a lot of friends." Wonwoo smiled. "By the way, nice to meet all of you. I hope we can be good friends."

"Sure hyung! Starting from today, we're friends so let's not be awkward with each other. If you have something to say, just say it to us. Don't hesitate." The cheerful Soonyoung said.

"Sure! Thanks."
