Eevon

I opened the window and jumped. I landed softly in a courtyard, hardly making a sound. It was only about twenty feet or so. It was fun, feeling the rush of the wind on your face; the friction, between you and the air, and the jarring impact if you don't stick it right. It was fun, alright. I wanna do it again!

Yes, I know I'm insane.

The first time I looked around I saw a finely dressed couple strolling along, I over hear their conversation.

"... worried about later today. The boys should have found her by now and the whole castle was put..." the man said.

They went behind some shrubbery, where I can't hear as well.

"... freaked out when I asked."

"Dear, the girl may not have know these situations before, now. Go easy on her. Please, for me?"

I don't hear his reply. Who are they talking about? I move in closer to hear more.

"This girl, Evan," the woman says.

IT'S ME!

"She is strong," the man's companion continues, "...and is not what people are made of these days. She must have a warrior's heart."

"Huh?" The man and I say in unison.

"Did you hear that?" the man says. there was someone else talking.

"Shizz-nippers," I say under my breath.

"There again! It came from over there."

I put my hand over mouth.

I hear people running. I squat ready to pounce on my pray or run. This castle is full of vermin ready to be extinguished. I see a foot and leap in for the kill. I tackle the first one around the corner. He grabs my wrist and wrenches it behind my back, taking the rest of my arm, too. God, that age old trick! Though, all I do is kick him in the nuts and he instantly lets go. I finally get a good look at my pressuer.

The one who attacked me was the male and his suit is dirty from when I tackled him. He is currently preoccupied with cursing me, my family, and all that who succeed me for kicking him. What a lousy thing to curse! He looks familiar.

The female was dressed in elaborate silks and her heels make a stupid click, clack noise. "Now child, we aren't going to hurt you," and she was wearing a crown fit for a queen. "Hello, I'm Queen Heather."

I take a step back. Uh oh! Well at least the crown fits her...

"What's your name?" she asks me.

I took another step back and tripped on a plant behind me. I fell on my butt. She laughed and raised a hand to help me up.

I grabbed it and replied,"Evan," my pride crushed beneath her laughter.

"Oh! Oh, Evan... You are the girl he was talking about. You are a nice pick. How did you find her again?"

"I simply ordered someone the same age as James and, ahh... What's our other son's name?"

"Mason?"she replies.

"No, the twin."

"Charles?" I ask.

"Yes! That's it!" the man proclaims.

"I finally know where I've seen you before! You are that creeper from earlier!" I balled my hands up into fist, the boxing gloves tightening and ready for some flesh to devour. I launch my attack.

I only strike a hand. A single, large, dark hand that completely immobilizes my arms just with its grip.

"Now miss, you need to control your temper better around the king and queen," a man said.

I look up and see a dark, tall man. His presence was overpowering. I can't believe I didn't notice him. He was so quiet and invisible, just like me. Well, most of the time.

"Come little girl, we will talk as we walk and on our way to your new school," the large man said.

I regarded him with respect and follow him. He blocked my blows, I have too, I haven't met anyone who can before.

"Now miss, what..."

"Name: Evan," I cut him off.

"Thank you Evan, you were eavesdropping just now, correct?" he asked.

"Name?" I shot back.

"Mr. Jones," he replied as curtly as I did.

"Mr. Jones, you were incorrect."

"He was?" the king following behind us said surprised.

"Yes," I glare at the king. Mind your own business! "I was just in the wrong place, at the right time. Not eavesdropping."

"We have reached the car, please climb in everyone," Mr. Jones instructed.

I saw the extra-stretch limo. It was huge! Their was a compartment for their majesties and one for me. Where are they going to take me?

I waited for a while and the door to the limo opened, "What took you so long, bastards?" I said and the four brats playing as princes climbed in themselves. We all sat in the same part of the limo as it took off.
