I headed back to my room, thinking over my "chat" with dad. Sometimes, I wish I was born into a different family. There would be less fuss, less pressure, and much simpler. Then all of a sudden I was on my butt, instead of my feet.
"Oh, I am so sorry, sir. I was not looking where I was going," she offered me her sweaty hand.
I grabbed it to help me get up and then discretely whipped it on my pants. "It's fine. I also was not looking where I was going." I stood regal in comparison to the maid. "Thank you for your help, but if you don't mind I will be on my way."
"Oh no!" I heard her whisper to herself.
"What's wrong?" I asked confused.
"Your highness..." she swept herself in to a low bow, "I am so sorry! I did not know it was you."
"Your apology is accepted, but do not let it happen again," I said in my princely voice
"Y, y, yes, your highness!" she stuttered her promise. She quickly ran away from me.
I almost wish she hadn't noticed who I am.
I got to my room. My three, brothers were inside.
Info********************************
Mason, the eldest, will be a senior this fall and he is a total jerk or douchbag, I think that is what they call at the pheasant level. I think he has sex with the girl before they even go out on a first date! Disgusting! He has different girl practically every week.
James, my twin, is cruel to anyone of a lower class than lord or lady, but not too bad with little kids. He is also a major prankster and gets away with it and he is incredibly stupid and thick. I don't know how he manages to pass each year, maybe it's because he is a prince and everyone kisses his ass.
I could live without those two brothers.
Alexander is another story, though. He is my only little brother. I swear he is adopted! He is nothing like James and Mason. It might be because I have protected him from most of the major blows. I don't mean physical, but mean names and shit like that. He is awesome, but I'm not sure if he can handle everything, when I'm not here to save his butt. Alexander will be going into sixth grade.

"You here the news now, too, Char?" James asked.
"Yeah, we are going to go to school with regular kids," I responded. "And don't call me that!"
"Totally sucks."
