Dean Eingall
"Your Highness! Please wake up," my butler shook me awake.
"What time is it?" I mumbled out of my sleepy mouth.
"Five-thirty, Prince Dean."
I give my eyes a few more seconds of rest, before I peel them open at such an ungodly hour. I groaned and sat up. The warm, fluffy covers slid down, revealing my bare chest. I saw he had already gotten out my uniform and was standing ready to help me dress.
"Prince Dean, are you going to get out of bed or just sit there? You must get to school on time at least on the first day."
My butt rose off the bed and my butler handed me my pants.
......
I walked to the dining hall. There was a full spread of breakfast food. I grabbed an omelet and a piece of jammed toast. There was a glass of orange juice waiting for me at my seat.
"Good morning, Dean!" Alex greeted me quickly, a ball of energy even this early in the morning.
"Morning, Alex," I responded.
"I'm really nervous about school, but I'm really excited! I wonder how many friends I'll meet? I hope they like me..." he yammered on.
I wonder if he'll be able to stay quiet long enough to not get in trouble?
Mason was already at the table as well. The lack of parents suggest that they will not be joining us. Princess Julie and Eevon were also not at the table. They are probably still doing their make-up and getting their hair done.
I nibbled at my breakfast and savored the flavors. Mason left after he had finished eating and James took his spot. He shoveled food into his mouth with such a lack of decorum, that he would have been disowned by our father. It wasn't nice to watch either. James would shove a forkful in before the previous had been swallowed, showing half chewed food between bites.
"You look like a chipmunk, James!" Alex declared.
He glared and continued eating the same way. You don't get between him and his food.
I left and called for a servant to bring me my backpack for school. School, such a bitter word to say.
I went to the car, once I got my bag from the servant. Mason was sitting there on his phone and surprisingly Alex was already waiting in the car.
"Princess Julie was just coming into the dining hall as I was leaving, so it will be a bit," Alex told me.
"Thanks, bud." The chauffeur took my school bag from me and placed it neatly in the trunk.
Now all we have to do is wait...
And wait...
-Fifteen minutes later-
The princess arrived. She had a butler carrying her bag. He put it in the car next to mine.
"Where's Eevon? I thought she would be out by now." Julie checked her diamond watch, "It's 7:10!" she exclaimed.
"She didn't seem like a high maintenance girl," Alex remarks.
"She wouldn't even let me help her unpack," I remarked.
"It is time to go, Your Highnesses," the chauffeur added.
Mason stepped into the car, he looked relieved for some reason. The rest of us followed in suit.
...........................
When we arrived at the school, it looked the same, but more populated. Like a lot more.
