Eevon- but maybe since I'm in the palace, I should give myself a title.
The limos pulled up to the castle gates. Every time I lay eyes on it, I can't help but marvel in its greatness. The castle is the largest building in the capital and maybe the entire country. I doubt the king would allow for a larger building than his own to be built. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a law.
The hall we entered was dressed in thick carpets and several guards, that might as well be there for decoration.
"Mason and James, please lead Princess Julie Constare of Slovakia to her bedchamber," the Queen ordered.
"Please, Princess Julie is plenty, Your Highness," she replied and the older lookin of the four boys led her away.
Though it is hard to tell they all look pretty much the same. I'm sure two of them are twins. They look similar.
"Charles and Alexander, please show Miss Evan to her room also. That is all."
"Charles we will talk more about what happened at lunch later," the King spoke.
"Of course, Father," Charles said perfectly.
One of the princes sighed. They must have hoped to be assigned to escort Her Royal Primpiness, instead they got me.
"So?"
"What?"
Who I feel fits the bill for the youngest kid, whispers something to his brother, while I wait for an actual answer.
"Oh, just follow kid," he said.
I prepared a full on onslaught, for the prince, but because it might be a bad idea to get to far on the bad side of things, I decided to let things boil for the time being. Plus, there aren't many good come backs for that.
"What do you want to do when you grow up?" the Alex asks.
"I haven't thought about it. I grew up to quickly to have many childhood fantasies," I replied, but I lied. I thought about it. A lot. Every orphan dreams of becoming a princess or at least living like one. I dreamed about being a teacher and an athlete, too...
"What is your favorite color?"
"Lavender," I reply.
"Here we are, Evan," Prince Dean said.
"You always mispronounce my name. Get it right," I said. I walked in the room and closed the door behind me.
"Evan, dinner will be-"
"Shut up and go away! You've done your job," I interrupted him.
"The devils be damned and let him finish!" Alex screamed.
My eyes widened, that kid can talk big. I did not expect that.
