Oh you my friend,
My dearest friend.
The one who showed me
That friendship never ends.
The one who lend me a helping hand
In times of trouble and problems.
You, alone are my bestfriend.
Back then at the month of June,
When we both went at the same school.
You were friendly, yet you're naughty
And liked breaking all the rules.
We both liked the same subjects,
And loved to talk about same old topics.
We promised then to be honest with each other,
That's how it all started as I can remember.
You let me learn from my mistakes,
You made me laugh everyday.
You told me that there's nothing wrong
Showing who I am, you made me strong.
You took away my greatest fears,
You wiped and shed my every tear.
You led the way so that I'll know,
You came with me wherever I go.
And then there came this problem
That we both fear to happen.
An equation, a disaster,
Than neither a mathematician nor a man
Alone can answer.
It was just a misunderstanding
That had grown to a serious thing.
Oh dear friend, I can never imagine
You and me trying to save a thing.
But it seems like our friendship is keeping us close,
It's one of those things we don't want to lose.
And there in the end I'm proud to say,
Our friendship was back, and forever will stay.
And now things are doing fine
As you read this poem of mine,
I thank you for all those times
That you became a part of my life.
And now my dearest friend,
To you I wish the very best,
For being the greatest friend,
And for this friendship that will never end.
[ This was a homework when I was in 2nd year high school]
