Sometimes we must know
The reality from dreams
And never judge the goodness
In badness that we fear
Sometimes what we see
Isn't even half the beauty
And the pureness of a heart
We know not the whole story
For once there was a girl
Who loves black and white
Likes hiding in the shadows
Adores the moon at night
She loves the snow
Whenever Winter comes
And full of delight
She likes cold very much
She prefers to be alone
Doesn't like to be seen
No one even knows
What she truly feels
Some are busy
Finding monsters under their beds
That they didn't notice
It had grown inside themselves
She loves black and white
But once loved the rainbow
She likes to hide in shadows
But once a friend to strangers
She embraced the coldness
When warmth had left her
That was why she loves the snow
And just the cold weather
She adores the moon at night
But once loved the morning light
She prefers to be alone
But once surrounded by people
You see, my friend
We know nothing
About other people
And sometimes ourselves
The truth lies at the deepest
As the beauty of our souls
We can't see but we know
It is there, we must show
