It doesn't have to rhyme
Or be in full words.
Just context
Or whatever comes in mind;
It doesn't always
Mean the literal
But deeper feels
From the heart;
Words you want to say,
Words you longed to hear,
Words you write on paper,
Words inked by a pen.
Black and white,
Splattered with red,
Sprinkled with dust,
Flooded with drops;
As you lie down
Under the stars
From dusk to dawn,
Till the rain falls
Or comes out the sun.
Turn dark into light,
As you indulge
With passion and delight.
As you take in
The ray of sunshine.
It's poetry.
Everything is.
[ You. Yes, you. You can do poetry and I encourage you to start turning your thoughts into words that you don't have to utter: You just need a pen and let the words sink in on paper. Free the poet within you. Free your lovely soul, my dear. May it be monochromatic or as colorful and bright as the universe. Share your works on the comments and allow me to read them :) ]
