It heals as it fades,
It moves but never turns.
It passes but doesn't stop,
It's slow but mostly fast.
People hope for it to end,
As their wounds start to mend.
Measured by dusk to dawn,
How earth revolves around the sun.
It is the cost of everything,
Now and from the very beginning.
The past you cannot change,
The future predicted but inaccurate.
We live, die and repeat,
Just as how this world began.
Sooner or later we would all be dust,
Like the stars who lost their glow above us.
Time is all we have,
Time is all we need.
No pause or press-play,
And never would there be delete.
Time is repeating,
But what's done is permanent.
Not even an 11:11 wish,
Could stop it from happening.
It must not be wasted,
For that is all we have.
To live the time we are in,
The choice is in our hands.
