Thanksgiving break was long awaited break here on campus. People were eager for a break in school work and I was one of those people. I had been working extremely hard in all my classes to show I was dedicated and diligent. The only bad part was the actual thanksgiving holiday. I had the sleep to look forward to and black Friday shopping but I hated Thanksgiving. I used to love it when I had my two parents to spend it with and my two siblings but we haven't done that in years. My sister is off doing some exchange program, Trevor spends holidays with his new artsy wife and children, and I'm stuck alone. I would spend it with Niall but his family never allowed outsiders into their holidays for some reason, which I find odd.

This Thanksgiving was unlike my lonely ones in many ways. Rose was back in town from her beauty school for two weeks so I got to spend it with her and Sienna's family lived so close to campus she was going to spend the day before Thanksgiving with Rose and I before going home for the holiday. I was excited to have my two best girl friends meet each other and be able to spend time with the both of them. I rarely saw Sienna outside of classes and I hadn't seen Rose in months. I knew the two of them were going to get along perfectly considering how similar the two are. 

I knew that Harry would come up at this girls day. Rose was going to find out some how that Harry taught here and Sienna was going to find out my history with Harry. I was a little nervous about this at first. I was nervous to see what Sienna would think of me after and nervous to see what Rose would think of my future with Harry. I had come to term with the fact that my friends had to know these things about me though. If I wanted to have open, healthy relationships with my friends they had to know these kinds of things. 

"Daisy", Rose said as I opened the door for her throwing her arms around me and almost tackling me in a hug. All I could do was smile and hug her right back. It felt so nice to see her again and know she was still my best friend. After all the shit the world had put us through we were still best friends.

"I miss you so much", she said pulling away from the hug and messing with her hair. She had been obsessed with hair extensions ever since she started beauty school and I understood why. She cut her hair short after a break up and regretted it ever since. The hair extensions were a perfect mask to cover how short her hair was.

"It has been too long. Its unfair how little we see each other", I said and she nodded.

"This looks like its gonna be a fun night", she said referring to all the things I had done to prepare for our girls night. I had some decorations up to make my apartment with Niall look a little more girly. I also had snacks out on our table that I knew my two friends liked.

"Yeah. My friend, Sienna is coming and you are going to love her. Plus, there is so much catching up and gossiping to do."

Rose nodded and smiled. She seemed excited about hanging out but there was also a little bit of an awkward silence. Its like it had been so long since her and I had seen each other that now it was weird. It was like we had grown apart or something in the time we were at different schools and didn't know each other. I am sure it wouldn't interfere in our friendship but still it sucked how awkward it was. Luckily, there was a knock on the door meaning that Sienna had arrived.

"Hello", Sienna said excitedly coming into the home Niall and I shared, hugging me. I introduced her to Rose and the two of them seemed to get along fine. They started talking about their school lives and really getting to know each other. I felt a little left out at first but knowing that my two best friends got along was really satisfying.

"So, has Daisy told you about our hot english teacher?", Sienna said and my heart started beating really fast. 

"No."

"Rose, he is so gorgeous", Sienna started," He has this gorgeous long, brown hair and he is so young. I bet you would love him."

"Daisy?", Rose said looking over at me with shock in her eyes. She had the suspicion of who it was as soon as Sienna started describing him. I was not surprised that she thought it was him.

"It's Harry", I told her and Rose let her mouth fall open while Sienna sat there in shock.

"Wait, you know him?", Sienna asked.

"It is a really long story. I'm not sure you would be interested", I said hoping and praying that Sienna wouldn't be interested in it at all. I just wanted her to not care about these kind of things. 

"Please tell me! How could you have even known him before this? I'm so curious! Is this why you hated him so much on the first day?", Sienna rambled.

"He was an student teacher at my high school. He had an interest in me and him and I started talking. We dated for a while, hooked up, stuff like that. He was sometimes really sweet and other times a total dick. He was really controlling over me and wouldn't let me have any guy friends. But in the end the school found out somehow and he got fired and we had to break up."

Sienna was smiling and Rose was sitting look at her phone. Rose knew the whole story and I wasn't surprised that she wasn't paying much attention but Sienna's smile was shocking. She was smiling ear to ear like she was happy to have heard the story.

"You're kidding", she said with a smile and I shook my head. Her smile instantly dropped and her jaw dropped. Know I knew that she was shocked and I got the answer I was expecting.

"So that's why he is always pulling you back to talk to you and like smirking at you in class?", she asked and I nodded.

"Why would he fucking do that?", Rose said," He knows your with Niall right?"

I nodded and Rose rolled her eyes. She had been very protective of me since everything had happened with Harry. She kept her guard up around me and boys. She did everything to prove her trust and she supported my relationship with Niall more than anything. She wanted the best for me and she wanted me to know how good of a friend she was.

"He has been wanting to get back with me and saying that he missed me and the way I made him feel", I said rolling my eyes, " and when I brought up Niall he got so mad at me and didn't want me to talk about it. He even texted me, I could not believe he still had my number."

"What did he say?", the two girls said in unison and I pulled out my phone to show the girls what exactly he said. They read it and gave a few reactions here and there but they didn't really say much.

"And he hasn't responded in a week?", Sienna said and I nodded.

"Okay, here is what you do", Rose said, " You talk to Harry and put him in his place. Tell him you don't love him, you are in a committed relationship, and that he needs to stop holding on to the image of you as a little girl. Then you talk to Niall and ask him about his brother."

Hello!! I am so sorry I have been so terrible with updating. I have had a very rough start to my year and I also have been editing all of my other fanfics. But, I am doing a lot better know and I am hoping to be consistently updating again. Thank you to everyone who has been patiently waiting for an update:)
